We recently got married in August 2025 and I came across Kris and Jamila via instagram. I instantly fell in love with their work and it was as though my phone was sending multiple signs each day to book with them as they kept appearing! From the first moment I engaged with them and how quickly they responded, I just knew I couldn't delay any further to book as I didn't want to miss out. We had a zoom call with Kris a month before our wedding and we instantly loved his character / sense of humour. We knew that we would get on perfectly with him on our big day. Roll forward to August, Kris and Jamila arrived on time and were so professional throughout. They both knew the exact times we needed 'a moment' but they were also efficient with getting the shots done so that we could continue mingling with friends and family to enjoy our day.
15 days after the wedding, we received an email whilst on our honeymoon - our photos were ready!!! Over 1400 photos to be exact!!! Every single one just blew us away and they captured such special moments that we didn't even know were happening.
The only thing I regret is not booking them as a videographer too!
Highly recommend and the day wouldn't have been the same without them, they're a fantastic pair. So, don't even think twice - Book them as I can assure you, you won't regret it. -

Couldn’t recommend more!
We got married in September 2025 and had Kris and Jamila photograph/video our wedding day. We simply could not recommend them enough. They had all of us (other suppliers included!) laughing all day. The photos we have received are nothing short of absolutely stunning. We aren’t due our video back yet but if the photos are anything to go by, we’ll be obsessed. We would hire Kris and Jamila again and again if we could. Thank you both for being a part of our day x -

We are so incredibly thankful that we hired Kris and Jamila for our wedding day! They were everything we asked for and more.
I’m not the most comfortable in front of a camera… However they made us feel so relaxed, at ease and calm throughout the day, so it didn’t even feel like a camera was in front of us. They captured the most beautiful moments, even ones that we didn’t know were happening!
Our photos are incredible, and truly captured the happiness of everyone on our special day. Everyone who has seen the pictures can’t believe how beautiful they look. We are truly over the moon… I can’t stop looking through them!
Thank you both for everything you did on our day, we are so thankful that we chose you as our photographers and will continue to recommend you to anyone that needs a wedding photographer.

We are absolutely over the moon that we chose Kris Karl Photography for our special day. From the very beginning, Kris was professional, approachable, and clearly passionate about his craft, and on the day itself we had the added bonus of his wife Jamila, who is equally talented behind the camera. Together they make the perfect team – their ability to work seamlessly with one another meant nothing was missed, and every precious moment was beautifully captured.
What really stood out was not just the incredible photos (which speak for themselves), but the way they went above and beyond in so many thoughtful ways. From helping with buttonholes and little details, to keeping us calm and making us laugh, they were far more than just photographers – they were a reassuring and friendly presence who truly cared about making our day run smoothly.
Both Kris and Jamila have a fantastic eye for detail, and they managed to capture everything from the big, emotional moments right down to the little candid touches we might have otherwise missed. They worked quickly, efficiently, and without ever feeling intrusive. By the time we saw the finished photos, we were blown away – the quality, creativity, and variety of shots completely exceeded our expectations.
On top of their talent, Kris and Jamila are genuinely wonderful people – funny, friendly, organised, and so easy to get along with. They made us and our guests feel comfortable and relaxed, which really shines through in the photos.

We hired Kris and Jamila from Kris Karl Photography following being a guest at another wedding and appreciating their work. Once again for our wedding they were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. As a husband and wife team, they worked so seamlessly together and made us feel completely at ease throughout the day. Our guests also commented on how brilliant they were.
One of the things we loved most was how effortlessly they blended in. Kris and Jamila captured everything so naturally and beautifully without ever feeling intrusive. In fact, there were times we didn’t even notice they were there and yet they didn’t miss a moment! The photos are absolutely stunning and they chose such perfect spots for our portraits. They were also brilliant at managing group photos, making everyone feel comfortable and keeping things moving smoothly without any stress or fuss.
What really made them stand out was the level of support they gave us beyond just photography. They were so thoughtful, proactive and hands-on - from providing stronger pins for our flowers, to keeping bouquets fresh, drying them when needed, and even helping fetching water and other things when we needed them. They went above and beyond in ways we didn’t even expect and anticipate what is needed from all their experience.
We honestly can’t thank them enough for everything they did, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to any couple. They are not only incredibly talented photographers, but also genuinely lovely people to have by your side on such an important day.

Kris was amazing from start to finish. He had great communication throughout and took some lovely photo's of our wedding. His down to earth attitude and humour made the day easy and enjoyable. As two people who don't particularly like having photo's taken he made us feel completely relaxed and comfortable throughout. His photo's perfectly captured the vibe of the venue and wedding. We can't thank Kris enough and would recommend in a heartbeat. -

We first met Kris & Jamila in 2022 at a family members wedding and booked them in 2023, for our 2025 wedding. They are amazing! Kris is such a natural at making everyone feel comfortable and has amazing leadership skills when it comes to getting everyone organised and in check! He brings the vibes/bants/and is amazing at what he does. Jamila was absolutely invaluable the morning of the wedding and getting myself and the bridal party ready. The final hour before the ceremony was hectic to say the least, but she kept me calm and thoroughly planned an order of the day and timings for everyone. It goes without saying, they work so well together and are an amazing team. I'm so glad we found them 3yrs ago and finally got to see them both in action on our wedding day. Kris kept everyone laughing and at ease throughout the day, and Jamila is a trooper to take all of his jokes on the chin (haha). It was perfect, and I really hope we see them again in the future!
