Joseph is kind, approachable and a joy to have with you on your wedding!
We wanted candid photos and this is exactly what we got. As well as our formal pictures, Joseph managed to capture amazing moments that didn’t feel posed at all!
The pictures speak for themselves, they are absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Beautiful, natural photos!
We found Joe’s work when researching online and loved his documentary style and editing. We first met Joe for our engagement shoot. We took a walk round a country park, hanging out together. Joe made us feel really comfortable and tried to ease us into being used to the camera. We were so pleased with our photos from that shoot, so we booked Joe for our wedding right after. It was a lovely way to get to know him, see if we liked his style of work and begin to see what it would feel like on the day.
Joe’s communication was great right up until our wedding day. He captured so many different parts of our day. He was calm, relaxed, chatted to our family and friends, and generally made us feel so comfortable. He put up with my anxiety, stress and bossiness really well! He judged when as a couple, we needed time with our guests and timed things so well on the day

Joseph was simply incredible! He is such a fantastic calming presence, capturing moments of joy with incredible stealth! Every moment, even the more posed shots, feel so incredibly natural! From our pre-wedding shoot to the previews of our wedding on the 18th April, we have photos that will absolutely be up on our walls for years to come! The fact we also were able to get the previews the very next day was absolutely incredible!
He really is a true talent and we would recommend him to anyone!

Amazing photographer!
Joseph photographed our Oct 2025 wedding and honestly we couldn't fault him! On the day he was amazing and we are so happy with the photographs he delivered. We definitely wanted more candid photographs over formal and we didn't want to spend loads of time on the couple photographs and he understood the brief perfectly! He was friendly, communicated well and delivered the photographs quickly.Joseph Allen-Keys Photography's reply:

Exceptional wedding photographer, highly recommend!
Joseph photographed our wedding day on 7th June 2025. Having found Joseph initially on the Hitched app, we loved his style of photography. From our first zoom call right through to our wedding day, Joseph was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was professional and knowledgeable and guided us in the right direction every step of the way. On the day itself, Joseph had a friendly, easy-going presence, blending in so seamlessly that half of the time we didn’t even realise he was there. He started early capturing everything from bridal prep right through to the evening party.
The photographs are simply out of this world, and more than we ever imagined. Joseph very kindly sent us ‘sneak peaks’ the day after our wedding which were phenomenal and made the wait for our final gallery exciting. After a few weeks, we received our full gallery and the photographs are simply amazing. He managed to capture the emotions, fun and special moments of the day perfectly, giving us memories we will cherish forever. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough. You will not be disappointed using Joseph for your wedding photographer!

We can't sing the praise of this photographer enough! Fantastic service before the wedding, always contactable with any questions we had, and available for a meeting before the wedding to discuss logistics. On the day, he was extremely professional, easy going and approachable. Like magic, he appeared for every photo opportunity, and yet most of the time we barely noticed he was there! We were nervous about the photo shoot as neither of us are used to having photos taken, however Joseph made the process so simple and natural we need not have worried. We received the photos in a timely manner after the wedding and were blown away with the quality and the range of shots we were provided. We are so grateful to have this wonderful record of our day. -

Couldn't have hired a better photographer!
Joseph Allen-Keyes was without doubt one of (if not the best) supplier that myself and my husband hired for our wedding day. From the moment we did our engagement photo shoot with him we knew we were in good hands! He's not only an amazing photographer, but also friendly, down to earth and really professional. We've received so many compliments for both our engagement photos AND for our actual wedding photographs as they're of an absolute fantastic quality. Our family and friends all have also commented on how nice and professional Joseph seemed on our wedding day making everyone feel at ease. I highly recommend him if you're looking for an amazing photographer for your wedding day. The service he provides (and the quality of his photos) are second to none. -

Joseph was simply the most perfect wedding photographer that we could have ever asked for! I felt like I could trust him completely to capture everything precious and important throughout the day. Even on the few occasions I asked him to capture something specific, he obliged happily without hesitation - even when I kept adding to the amount of items I wanted in the flat-lay! Thank you for your patience! In our initial interview I was impressed by how approachable Joseph was. He instantly made me feel at ease and, as people that don’t feel that comfortable having photos taken, I knew someone calm and down-to-earth would be the perfect fit for us. I was right; he blended in perfectly throughout the day and we never felt like he was intrusive or made us do anything that didn’t feel natural. He even left a sweet note in our guestbook (thank you Joseph for the advice!) and, what’s more, we received our previews literally the next day! I would recommend Joseph to family/friends/strangers without a doubt! We are thrilled with our gallery and look forward to enjoying it for many, many years to come. Thank you again! -

Joseph was wonderful to work with and have at our wedding. He instantly put everyone at ease and really listened to what we wanted from our day and he absolutely delivered. He unobtrusively captured beautiful family moments and brilliant huge group photos with real patience and joy. We couldn't recommend him highly enough. You will be thrilled with the results.
