  Perfect photos to remember our day

  Jon and Kyle were so easy to work with and slotted into our day perfectly, most of the time not noticing they were there but somehow managing to capture all the special moments! The photos are lovely, thanks so much!

  Beautifully captured

  Jon and his partner were so great on our wedding day. They captured our wedding day beautifully and so happy with the photos we have received! They both were so kind and patient with us all. We would definitely use them again!

  Professional, Polite & Great Video

  Jon from JDS had been the photographer at our friends’ wedding and once we saw their video snippet on Instagram and following praise from our friends, we got in touch. Jon has been extremely helpful and responsive throughout the whole process and always sort to make us happy. We felt comfortable on the day and had a few laughs in between; the perfect recipe. We love our video and if you have not yet booked your videographer, would definitely recommend Jon and Kyle.

  Professional and friendly.

  Jon was really attentive to what we wanted for our photos, met up with us in person which made us feel comfortable, organised and calming on the day. Overall, exactly what we were looking for. And pictures are beautiful.

  Definitely recommend!

  I cannot recommend Special Day photography enough. Great quality photos, both candid and posed. He really knew how to get the best out of the couple and all of the guests. Personable, high quality bespoke service.

  Right from the beginning Jon & Scott were incredibly professional whilst also being extremely accommodating to whatever we requested of them. In the planning stages they helped out wherever they could, and on the day itself they were so helpfu; and were fantastic with the guests - from rounding up the family for group photos to talking to the kids when they didn't want to stand still and pose. They helped create the relaxed fun atmosphere we wanted of the day whilst never getting in the way of proceedings. All of this is important in a wedding photographer but nothing in comparison to the photos/videos themselves. When we received our beautiful box with our usb of photos we poured a glass of wine and watched a slideshow of the day from beginning to end. Every new photo made me gasp and brought a tear to my eye! They really captured all the best moments and showed some beautiful natural photos that we will treasure. My only slight issue is that I cant possibly choose between the photos as to which I should have printed and hung up on the wall... Looking forward to seeing the video now! Thanks Jon & Team for capturing such beautiful memories for us! Angela & James x

  Wedding Day Review

  We got married in June 2017 and from the very beginning Jon was very professional in a very relaxed manner. On the big day, we barely noticed Jon as he fitted in amongst our guests getting the loveliest of photos. Our portraits were beautiful and when it came to the group photos, Jon was true to his word that he would make sure they did not go on for too long and he executed that perfectly!!! We loved our final photos and how they came to us in the presentation box. Would highly recommend!
