Amelia Sent on 01/06/2024Blown away by India’s talent and eye for detail. She truly is a rare find
Coming from two people that don’t like to have their photo taken, my husband and I thought finding a photographer would be a challenge but as soon as we met India, we knew she was the one. India is the epitome of cool, calm and collected - yet carries such passion and enthusiasm for photography, as soon as I mentioned wanting a mixture of film and digital - her eyes lit up. India has been shooting on film for the last 15 years and knows how to make the most of a 36 exposure roll! India has the ability to blend in, I barely knew she was there most of the day but the photos she captured blew us away. Absolutely over the moon. First off me and my husband want to extend all the gratitude to India. She was fantastic! So kind, warm, and so obviously talented. She was easy to communicate with pre-wedding, made sure we covered all our bases and was clear about what she needed from us.
The day went beautifully, she captured us so well and made us feel so calm and relaxed. I honestly felt like I knew her when we met, my family even commented that it felt like a friend was with us. This however didn't take away from her professionalism, she directed us when necessary to get good shots and relaxed the mood for candids. She offers film photography aswell and the pictures are divine. We've got so many beautiful photos to look back on to remember our special day thank to to India. I CANNOT recommend India enough. India is an absolute joy to work with, so relaxed and kind! She totally put us at ease and was amazingly unobtrusive on the day - hardly noticed her sneaking around getting candids the entire time, even in the ceremony! We didn't want tonnes of posed photos and she didn't force us to do anything we didn't fancy, but managed to capture the day. She also did a combination of digital and film photography at our request which adds a lovely variety. She is also super reasonably priced in our opinion compared to others we spoke to. She arrived early to check out the venue and was very professional throughout. Mostly she's just a lovely person and you'll enjoy having her around on the day!India Mae Alby Photography's reply:

Happy we were able to squeeze in that mini-shoot so you have a couple of slightly posed photos but you were both totally natural and absorbed in each other the whole time, it was easy to capture candid shots of you just going through the emotions of the day! It was obvious to everyone just how in love you both are and it was very special for me to document that so thank you and Asya for choosing me as your photographer! India was such a great addition to our day. She put us at ease and made the most of our time with her. Her use of 35mm film has made some beautiful shots and the candid photos also just helped to capture how much fun we had on our wedding day. India joined us for an hour for our registry office ceremony. She captured some lovely shots of us during the ceremony and then some portraits in the garden afterwards. The family shots are beautiful also. We highly recommend India- she’s so professional and an all round lovely person to spend time with on the most special day of your life. Amazing value for money couldn't ask for a better photographer the photos are absolutely amazing. India helped make my dream wedding come true the photos are superb and beautiful will definitely recommend and will for future celebrations as she is very polite and such an amazing person.
