David was amazing from start to finish, leading up to the day we had great communication and on the day he was fantastic, capturing so many candid moments that reflect the absolute fun and joy of our wedding, a lot of the time we didn’t even know he was there! He set up and organised all of the group shots we asked for as well and spent the morning whilst we were getting ready taking wonderful pictures of the venue as it was also transformed into our dream. The images are beautiful and we couldn’t of asked for better. His service was professional and relaxed and everyone felt totally at ease with him. And he is generally just a really lovely person! Our gallery was ready super quickly and we have had so much pleasure looking through it with friends and family and he captured our day perfectly. We highly recommend David who photographed our wedding in August ’24. Photos are amazing, it is incredible how David captured so many beautiful moments in those few hours he was with us. Looking through the photos was like having our beautiful day over and over again, discovering about lovely moments we could not see on the day. It is incredible how he blended with the crowd; we hardly knew he was there. We will treasure those beautiful photos forever. The communication was brilliant right from the start, the right amount of information given to us at the right time, David was very professional and kind during the planning and on the day. Many people who attended really do not like photos of them being taken, but they all felt very comfortable thanks to David’s professionalism, kind and patient personality. Thank you, David, the words are not enough. We are looking forward for David to capture more beautiful moments when we have the event in the future.

Great service for our special day
We booked David for our wedding day to cover the ceremony, and celebrations afterwards. He was easy to book, arranged an introduction call to understand our needs and explained the process so we knew exactly what to expect.
On the day he was there an hour early to capture some candid shots of the guests, and helped us arrange our 'first look' photo which was great.
The price and results were fantastic! We were both pleased with the final photos. We wanted a mixture of official posed images as well as candid shots of us and the guests, it was actually the candid shots that we wanted the most.
We got a range of colour and B&W images, and we were pleased with all of them. Great job! Would recommend.David Potter Photography's reply:

Bride and Groom
David is an amazingly talented photographer. I was so nervous and anxious about booking a photographer for our wedding especially as we weren’t getting married locally which meant we couldn’t have a face to face meeting with a photographer before hand. We found David via Hitched and we had a zoom call where we discussed what we would like etc and we booked David there and then. David from start to finish has been professional by keeping us in the loop at all times. The photos we have received are incredible and he captured so many beautiful pictures. We got married at the seaside and asked for some silly photos at the amusements and David certainly delivered on these. If you are looking for a photographer then we would highly recommend getting in touch with David Potter Photography. Thank you for the amazing service you have provided.

We received our digital wedding photo album yesterday and to say we are over the moon with our photos is an understatement!
We had a home visit from David a few weeks before the weekend to get to know one another and to discuss our expectations of how we wanted our photos to look on the day.. relaxed and informal.
We tapped into David’s vast wealth of knowledge and experience and took his advice throughout the day to get the most from our guests and ultimately the very best photographs.
On the day, David was very professional, incredibly patient when we deviated from our agreed list of family groups and was unobtrusive amongst our guests.
He worked non stop and took the most beautiful, natural photos of us all.
The quality and content of the photos are second to none.
All of our guests commented on how hard he worked and he seemed to take hundreds (if not thousands) of photos of us all.
We paid David extra to stay later in the evening and we were so glad we did, as by that time everyone had let their hair down and were busting some shapes on the dance floor.
All of which have been recorded for posterity!!
I would have no hesitation in recommending David to be your wedding photographer.
The epitome of Calm ( very much needed on a stressful day) full of advice before the day, heaps of experience, excellent quality photographs and most importantly incredible value for money..
thank you so much David for helping us relive our wonderful day over and over again!

David was incredibly polite and friendly at our meetings and over email. On the day he was much the same. He managed to merge into the crowd and not feel like he was taking over when taking photos of our reception.
