My husband and I are not people who usually enjoy being photographed, but Catherine made the whole experience manageable and actually fun! We opted for the tier of her services that included an engagement shoot which acted as a sort of practice in front of the camera, which was so helpful for us.
And of course the photos from the day are incredible. They are natural and really capture the joy of the day and everyone that was there.
We honestly cannot recommend her enough. From our first conversation with her about what we were looking for, to when she arrived on the day, her professionalism and patience was exactly what we needed.
Thank you again Catherine for capturing our wedding so beautifully! -

From start to finish, Catherine was kind, professional, accommodating, attentive, knowledgeable, experience, flexible and very fairly priced.
As our wedding was a destination wedding (split over two days,) we had to arrange everything via telephone and email.
With this, Catherine could not have been more helpful, whether this be through checking our venue for the perfect vantage points, by keeping up to date with local weather trends to ensure we had the best conditions for our photos, or through simply making us feel at ease on our big day!
Catherine, we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! Thank you for being apart of our special day.

I was travelling with my partner to Jersey and I wanted to make the day perfect for her. The photoshoot with Catherine left her stunned and speechless and that was before we had the shots through! Catherine was asked at literally the last minute to take pictures of our wedding. She turned up and everyone clicked. She made a fabulous day really memorable and was exceptionally helpful. Having Catherine Hill as our wedding photographer was a joy from start to finish. Starting from the engagement photo session, she was incredibly committed to capturing the best photos for us. She was flexible when it came for the timing of the shoot, since it was raining almost nonstop for about two weeks, and when a sunny day arrived we sprung into action. I really appreciated her instructions during the shoot of how to pose and how to be relaxed and romantic but not corny for the camera. The results were absolutely perfect- intimate but sincere, and visually stunning. She also went to great lengths to capturing the perfect shot- from trodding through puddles to laying down in the grass. Her commitment to her craft is truly admirable, and I felt like we were in good hands.
On our wedding day, she was in early to capture the wedding party get ready and to scope out locations for our first look photos. She describes her process as “documenting the day”, focusing on getting sincere candid shots as opposed to staged shots, and I must say that she did this perfectly. She perfectly captured the slightly chaotic, but sweet, atmosphere of everyone getting ready. She has a great artistic eye, and her photos are wistful and magical, a mix of joyous candids and stunning posed shots, she really made us look very good. Looking back on the photos of the day, I can see so many funny little moments of our friends and families being silly and adorable that I missed because I wasn’t there, but she was there to sneakily catch those moments! I will truly treasure these forever.
Overall, Catherine was fantastic to work with. She was able to adapt to tricky situations like when it started raining during our outdoor photos or when we were running behind schedule and hurrying to catch the sunset light, and she made it work! She was a big reason that the day was stress-free and enjoyable for me, and I would pick her again without hesitation.
