The whole time we were with Britta, even from the moment we met at a wedding fayre, we felt very relaxed as if we were hanging out with a friend but this friend was super knowledgeable about how to get all our best angles.
All of our pictures were beautiful on both of the occasions we had the pleasure of being photographed by Britta, before our wedding to celebrate our engagement (which is a great way to practice for the big day!) and our wedding day itself! Now, a year and a half on, we are transported right back to that day whenever we look at the photos.
Thank you Britta for everything and keep doing you!

Our Wedding Day
Upon my first encounter with Britta, I knew she was the photographer for us as she was so friendly and professional, and made me feel so at ease straight away. Nothing was too much for her and she went above and beyond to make our day as easy and stress free as possible. The communication throughout was amazing and the end result of the pictures she captured were spectacular! What to say about Britta? From the first time we met her at the January wedding fayre with more than two years until our wedding, we felt in safe hands. Britta is a true professional and it shows. She left out no details and took great care to remember all the things we wanted captured, meeting us for a coffee in the months leading up to the wedding, and regular check-ins via email.
Britta and her team are so good with people that she blended seamlessly into our day (especially if you are someone who is feeling nervous or shy). She was also great at working with time restraints, ensuring we got all our family portraits quickly and without a hitch! Having worked with plenty other artists on the island, she was a perfect partnership for our videographer. Special thanks also to Micah, who was shooting the groom's morning and did a stellar job.
Our photos are simply stunning! Britta's classic style with modern detailing makes for fabulous portraits and you can tell the care she has put into your gallery. We received our full images - plus more! - within 1 month of the wedding. She was one of the first services we booked (when you know, you know right?!) and we couldn't be happier with her service. Os Magalhães - THE best Photographer
Britta was absolutely phenomenal as our wedding photographer. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make our day truly special. One of our favorite memories with her was taking a moment together to soak our feet in the sea on what was the hottest day of the year—an experience that felt like magic amidst all the celebration.
Her care, kindness, and attention to detail shone through every step of the way, especially when she helped us choose the perfect photos to display in our home. Britta captured the essence of our love in a way that words never could. Each photo is filled with so much emotion, joy, and beauty that we’ll cherish them forever.
We are so grateful to Britta for not only documenting our wedding but for being such a wonderful presence throughout the day. So thrilled with our photos and very much enjoyed working with Britta for our wedding. It's a very strange experience to be in front of a camera all day but Britta made us feel at ease and it shows in the final photos how relaxed and natural we felt. Britta shot our intimate ceremony in Scotland and did such an amazing job! She got all the shots we wanted and more! She scouted out surrounding areas and came prepared with umbrellas for Scotland’s weather! She thinks of everything!
And Britta is so easy to be around, comfortable and professional- which is really important on a day with such high emotions!

Choosing Britta as our wedding photographer was the best decision we made to capture our day perfectly. Leading up to the wedding Britta was well organised and ensured we had our shots thought through so there was less to do on the day.
On the wedding day Britta was amazing at giving direction but also making us both feel at ease throughout the day. During the morning when getting ready, Britta captured some perfect photos of my dress and shoes, and beautiful natural shots of our children and family. We managed to get down to St Brelades beach and have some couple shots which have turned out beautifully.
We were very surprised to receive a handful of photos the next day! This was a lovely touch as it was something we could use to show family and friends straight away. When we received all the photos through we were amazed with the quality and how Britta had captured the day.
Overall we would highly recommend Britta as a brilliant photographer, and a lovely person to deal with for anyone’s special day!Britta Marie Photography's reply:

We are absolutely thrilled with our experience with Britta as our wedding photographer. We first met her for our engagement shoot in St. Catherine's and we knew then that we were in good hands. We were very comfortable in sharing our thoughts with her and she really took the time to understand our vision and provided invaluable guidance and support throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding which was held at Gorey Castle, Britta was nothing short of amazing. She managed to capture the most intimate and candid moments, as well as the big, joyful celebrations, in a way that truly told the story of our day.
The final photographs exceeded our highest expectations. The composition, lighting, and quality of the images are simply stunning!! 🥹 We couldn't even choose which photos to post because it's really all that good that you'd want to share it with everybody! ☺️ We are so grateful to Britta for her incredible work and dedication. She’s just great!
For a couple who hate having their photographs taken Britta is amazing! She shot our wedding day and I’m so pleased she did. She put us both at ease, she was super friendly and was amazing at capturing shots we wouldn’t have even thought of.
Highly recommend her, attached are some of the sneak peek photos from the day, judging by how these turned out I can’t wait to see the full package! 😊
