We are SOOO happy that we hired Luke for our wedding day. Luke completely nailed the vibe we were after. We wanted the day captured in a really natural, documentary style — full of colour, feeling, and little moments — and he absolutely delivered. He made a few great suggestions along the way but never pushed anything, just gently guided when needed, and otherwise let everything unfold as it was meant to. He managed to get the most beautiful shots without ever making us feel posed or pulled out of the moment. He also worked seamlessly with our videographer and we could see them getting on really well and never letting us feel overwhelmed.
Luke blended in so seamlessly it felt like he was just part of the wedding party — chatting with our core team, dancing around with the camera, always in the right place at the right time. He even got us water and drinks when he could see us struggling in the sun. Honestly, his presence was such a lovely, grounding addition to the day.
And the photos… wow. He gave us such a generous preview and we absolutely love them. He captured the essence of us and the atmosphere so brilliantly — the energy, the emotion, and all the gorgeous colours of the day: red, yellow, black, and green.
We’re honestly so grateful to have had him there — the photos are exactly what we’d hoped for and more.

My wife and I got married in February this year with Luke as our photographer and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Luke was patient, reassuring, and accommodating throughout the entire process and the pictures! We couldn't be happier.
When we were looking for a photographer, there were so many elements that were important to us. Because we are a Nigerian-Welsh couple, we planned both a more traditionally western ceremony and a mini-Nigerian ceremony across two different days. So we wanted someone who could capture the colours and vitality of both events, and would take beautiful pictures of both white and black skin in a variety of lighting conditions. Seeing Luke's previous work, we felt confident he could capture our days and boy, did he deliver!
The pictures came out beautifully; the colours are vivid, the posed shots are made us feel regal, and the dancing pictures are like a Renaissance picture - a tableau of energy and joy. Luke has an incredible eye, always finding the emotion and the viewpoint to encapsulate the moment. He danced, as my mother put it, unobtrusively throughout the venues, never taking up space but always where he needed to be. It has been such a delight looking back over so many beautiful moments we personally weren't there to see but Luke managed to grab, yet there wasn't a single moment we ever felt he wasn't with us recording our day. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a secret twin helping him out!
Beyond the fantastic quality of his work, it was genuinely a pleasure to be photographed by Luke. We had a couple of set-up calls before the big day where Luke talked us through the process, answered our questions, and all-round got us ready. He was attentive and reassuring, organising a follow up call as we drew close just to make sure we were good.
On the actual day, Luke was fantastic at making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe in his hands. He helped keep us to schedule with welcome, gentle reminders of our shot list, but was flexible when it became difficult to wrangle people for example. When it inevitably rained (UK Winter weddings!), he kept us calm and adapted to the situation, even working around another wedding at the town hall, so that we could still the pictures we wanted. Most importantly, he made us feel so happy and special in our day. Luke cares about your happiness and it comes through in everything he does.
So many elements of getting married can be stressful, so do yourself a favour! Hire Luke so the photographs aren't one of them. We already recommended him to friends getting married this year because we were so pleased with his work (and because it would have been nice to see him again!) but he was already booked up. So, if you're asking yourself "do I want Luke to photograph my wedding?", then take our advice and go for it! It'll be the second best "I do" of the day. -

Luke was the perfect photographer from start to finish. Despite not meeting him in person before seeing him at the end of the aisle, I instantly felt relaxed and calm around him. He managed to both blend into the background and be a friendly presence.
And then the photographs!!! I feel so awkward in front of a camera but the shots are so beautiful and so natural and he captured our relationship and the emotion of the day perfectly.
I cannot thank him nor recommend him enough.

Thank you Luke for being by so unobtrusive on the day and making us feel so comfortable. We were a little nervous about the prospect of posing for pictures but you made us feel much more relaxed. Thanks for focussing in on all those little moments too with family. Seeing everyone’s expressions and faces captured during the day was so lovely - things we missed while we were looking at each other! The 35mm images were a truly special addition too. Wonderful time for us! Thank you Luke!
We had such a wonderful time during our pre-wedding photoshoot in London with Luke. It was truly a special experience for us.
In just three hours, we were able to visit many meaningful places that hold memories for us — Baker Street Station, our favorite park, a pub we love, the Town Hall, beautiful streets around the city, and the National Gallery. It meant so much to capture our memories in these special locations.
Throughout the shoot, he kept the atmosphere relaxed and fun, which helped us feel very comfortable. We spent such a warm and joyful time together.
The preparation before the shoot was also excellent. He really listened to our ideas and wishes, and interpreted them in his own professional way to create something even better than we imagined.
Not only is he a very talented photographer, but he is also a genuinely kind and wonderful person.

The pictures are perfection!
Luke was everything we could have asked for from start to finish when planning our big day, making us feel really at ease from our first comms. Our styles matched perfectly as we really wanted the day to be captured just as it was, with real shots of us and our guests. Luke did not disappoint, he blended in with all the guests and brought the vibes on the day too. We could not be happier with the pictures of our day, the best moments of our life captured perfectly. Thank you absolutely everything Luke
Luke is incredible, you feel so at ease and that’s so important as it’s the biggest day of your life and you need to trust your photographer. He was a friendly, calming voice through everything and it just shows how much I trusted him as we both had our phones on airplane mode and had no photos to show for the day until his arrived. We both felt immediately so happy that Luke was part of our day, he works hard, and you never feel like he’s there!
