What can we say? The Twigs are truly incredible. From the very first contact with Paul and Suzi, we felt completely supported and genuinely cared for — not just as clients, but as people planning one of the biggest days of our lives. Their talent goes far beyond photography and editing; their wedding guide was invaluable in helping us plan a day that flowed effortlessly, and they even helped us find the perfect videographer to match our style and vision.
On the wedding day itself, Paul went above and beyond in every possible way — from helping with buttonholes and pocket squares for the groomsmen to even helping me with my dress. He brought such a calm, friendly energy that it genuinely felt like having a friend there capturing our day, rather than just a photographer.
We’ve already received some sneak peeks, and they are absolutely stunning. I already know the full gallery is going to be the perfect mix of Vogue-worthy editorial shots and those beautiful, authentic documentary moments filled with joy, emotion, and a little bit of chaos. Great experience start to finish. Communication brilliant throughout. We did some pre wedding shots which turned out really well. We used some on our invites and some on the wedding day too. Paul is really chill and on the day of wedding our guests were really impressed with how professional and passionate he was. Our sneak peeks look great, can't wait for the rest. Amy Sent on 29/10/2025Covid cancelled our wedding twice but Twigs came through for our 3rd attempt
Paul and Suzi are absolutely amazing and such lovely people! We were due to get married in June 2020, then June 2021 then eventually got hitched Aug 2021. They were absolutely amazing through the cancellations and in the lead up.
On the day Paul was an angel. He arrived to my parents house and chatted to me, my parents and bridesmaids. He has the best tips and we felt absolutely privileged to have him all day. He has a great personality and we love our photos.
Suzi is just amazing and we recently saw them out and about 4 years after our wedding and they remembered it was almost our anniversary. I could chat to them for hours.
If you are unsure who to pick for your wedding, I could not recommend them enough. Amazing photographer, great organisation, easy to get along with and just wonderful people. -

You don’t need a review to tell you about how incredible The Twigs’ photos are – you can see that for yourself. Our photos are a stunning end result that we will treasure forever – I’ll be showing them to people in 50 years even if the marriage doesn’t work out! What you need to know, that can’t be seen in the photos, is about all the other elements of the experience, and that is where The Twigs really shone for us.
From the moment of booking, Paul and Suzie cared about getting to know us, putting us at ease, and understanding all the details about our big day so they could get the vibe right. This was a truly personalised and luxury customer experience, more than worth the money.
We were awkward customers. Neither myself nor my partner is comfortable having our photos taken. We also decided we had a very specific vision for our pre-wedding Love Shoot. The Twigs not only listened and were keen to execute it, but took my mangled explanation and turned it into an extraordinary creative brief, including finding us a location that worked perfectly. I hope it doesn’t make their jobs harder in the future if I say, feel free to get creative and challenge them!
The day of the Love Shoot is a memory I will always cherish. Paul was an absolute dream, getting us comfortable, having fun and getting great results. He was rearranging the room and climbing on the furniture to get the shot – and it shows. This man truly would risk falling out of a window if it meant getting the right composition for a shot, and he gets the shot right in the moment, rather than relying on editing.
This will sound like exaggeration, but something changed in my brain chemistry after that. At one point, when I was looking at one of the raw photos during the shoot I got overwhelmed, seeing myself in an entirely new light. My husband later told me: “I was watching you, and that was the moment I knew you’d finally seen yourself the way I see you.” There's no greater review than that!
The photos were always the bit I dreaded about our wedding, casting a very real pall over a day I was otherwise hyped about organising. After the Love Shoot, I wasn’t just reassured; for the first time in my adult life, I was excited about the idea of being photographed.
Again, the wedding showed The Twigs’ determination to get the best out of people. Not only did they make sure they were completely prepped on our style and key moments/people in advance, but on the day Paul did everything in his power to get the best – and honestly the coolest – shots. From corralling a 20-strong wedding party and rearranging the furniture, to getting everyone laughing and at ease, to launching himself across the floor, and letting himself get trapped in a children’s play tent with a rowdy wedding party. He also did quite a bit that had nothing to do with photographs – pretty sure I saw him mopping up a puddle at one point. All my aunties have asked after him.
I lied earlier, these are actually all things that can be seen in the photos. The pictures are phenomenal, well composed and artistic, while still capturing the joy and love of the day. The posed ones are posed like high fashion editorial, with subjects who are clearly feeling confident and comfortable, and the candids catch people in their best light. The style is unique to each wedding and tailored to fit. Not your average wedding snaps. Run don’t walk, and do whatever it takes, to get these two on your team. Simply brilliant!
The Twigs were our photographers for our wedding in March and we couldn't recommend them enough! We were contacted just the right amount leading up to the wedding, we received a lovely introduction package in the post and were made to feel really special without adding to any of the wedding prep stress. On the day Paul was such a welcome addition to all the craziness of getting ready and the actual celebrations, we had lots of people tell us how lovely our photographer was! We had so much fun taking the photos and they turned out brilliant. They reflected the vibe of the day perfectly and the majority of the pictures were of people laughing and having fun which makes us smile every time we look at them ☺️ we can't thank them enough for giving us such unique and brilliant photos of such a special day! -

We booked The Twigs after meeting Paul at my sister in law's wedding where he was working 6 years ago. We loved his style of photography and how he looks for all the details and special moments. From the point of booking Paul and Suzi have gone above and beyond. Communication is excellent and they are both happy to support you during the wedding planning process; even providing a wedding planning guide with useful information and discount codes for other suppliers.
Our pre wedding photo shoot was organised efficiently and we enjoyed exploring Blist Hill Victorian Town with Paul and getting used to having our photographs taken as we were both quite nervous. Paul put us at ease and we felt very comfortable and enjoyed the experience.
On our wedding day Paul continued to go above and beyond looking to capture moments to remember the day. One of our guests commented they have never seen a wedding photographer work so hard and pay so much attention to detail. We have received our sneak peeks but can't wait to see the rest of the gallery.

Honestly cannot thank the Twigs for the photos we had at both our engagement shoot and on our wedding day!
We both don't like our photos taken but Paul made us feel so at ease during our engagement shoot so when it came to our wedding day, we had an absolute blast!
As soon as we received our engagement photos back, we were on love and it made us so much more excited for our wedding day. The Twigs provide an exceptional service. They really take the time to get to know you as a couple and record every special moment. They are professional and communicative from the love shoot to every little detail. On our day Paul was invaluable and nothing was too much trouble and he made sure our day ran smoothly.
