Where do we even begin on Dan‘s photos? We honestly could not be happier. Each photo was more stunning and captivating than the last, we can’t even put into words how grateful we are for having Dan capture our day.
Dan's ability to capture candid moments is truly remarkable. His photos go beyond just capturing people in the frame; they capture the energy, the essence, and the joy of the day. Looking at his photos allows us to relive and re-experience not only our precious moments, but he managed to seek out the magic and gorgeous moments that we were not even aware of. Dan has a talent for then bottling that energy and immortalizing it through his lens.
What sets Dan apart is not just his talent, but also his personality. He has a warm and friendly demeanor that made everyone around him feel comfortable and at ease. As he snapped away, he encouraged us to be ourselves and carry on naturally. Most of the time, we were unaware that he was capturing these moments until we saw the photos later. This is a testament to his ability to blend into the background and capture genuine, unposed moments.
Communication with Dan was a breeze throughout the entire process. His pre and post-production communication felt more like talking to a friend rather than a supplier, whilst also being highly professional throughout the whole process. He took the time to understand our preferences and vision, ensuring that we were on the same page. On the day of the event, he put in a long and dedicated shift, working tirelessly to capture every important moment. The turnaround time for the images was incredibly fast, and we were presented with a wealth of breathtaking photos to choose from.
However, this led to a delightful dilemma. Each photo was so stunning and enchanting, making it difficult to narrow down our selection. We were spoiled for choice with the sheer amount of amazing photos he provided us with.
In conclusion, we couldn't be happier with Dan's photos. His talent, warmth, and genuine passion for his craft shine through in every image he captures. Working with Dan was an absolute pleasure, and we wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who wants their special moments beautifully captured for a lifetime. Our biggest piece of advice is to let Dan have free rein to do what he does best, you will not be disappointed. The photos he took whilst roaming our wedding are some of the most beautiful photographs of our favourite people that we have ever seen.

Captured the day wonderfully!
From the initial contact with Dan, we found him relaxed and easy to deal with. He gave a straightforward quote and responded quickly to all messages.
On the big day Dan was brilliant. He arrived promptly and settled in quickly to the rhythm of the day. He was chilled with the guests and became a part of the kids entertainment (I think they won Dan - sorry!), all the while managing to be everywhere to get some great photos. The “formal” photos is not something we were especially looking forward to, as forced poses is not really our style - Dan made this quick and effortless, taking wonderful shots without fuss or hanging around. He stayed late in the night to make sure that he captured the full extent of the day!
After the wedding Dan sent through a link to the online library, quicker than he had promised. The photos were a wonderful account of the day, capturing both the classic wedding photo side, but more importantly the feeling of the wedding in the candid shots of guests and the frivolities of the day. It’s only when looking back through the photos that you realise that Dan is actually a ninja, managing to get back and forth across the venue without being noticed, to capture all the little details!
We eventually put together our wedding album a few weeks after the wedding, we also made some magazine style albums as gifts. The online store is simple enough to use, although the ability to zoom in on products would have been helpful! The quality of the prints is amazing and they should serve as a wonderful reminder of the day for years to come!

We couldn’t have chosen a better photographer for our wedding
We couldn’t have chosen a better photographer for our wedding. Dan is such a nice person and is so good at capturing the perfect photos. He was on time, spoke to the wedding host and got on really well with our videographer, he was also somehow always around and managed to capture every special moment including action shots and candid ones that are so so good. We got our photos very quickly (faster than expected). Thanks to Dan we have memories in pictures that we can look back on forever and we would highly recommend him. -

We cannot thank Daniel enough for capturing the joy of our wedding day! Neither of us are particularly comfortable having photos taken, and Daniel made us feel entirely at ease and managed to show our personalities in every photo. He also fit right into our very crowded front room as we got ready in the morning, and took gorgeous getting ready photos and the most stunning photos of our cat that we have ever seen!
Daniel was so unobtrusive that after the wedding we wondered if he had actually been present for the speeches (he was), and we have had multiple guests comment on how lovely he was.
We found Daniel's photos and loved his documentary style, but chose him because he was very kind and really understood when we told him we had had bereavements this year and wanted someone who could be gentle with us and show the emotion of the day. Every time we have looked at our photos since he shared them with us (which was also incredibly quick!) we have laughed and cried, and found a new favourite every time.
Thank you so so much Daniel, we couldn't have asked for more. -

We have always admired Dan’s work and style and knew if there was one thing we weren’t going to compromise on our wedding day, it was going to be the photographer.
Dan has a way of capturing the very essence of you, your guests and the whole experience in the most relaxed unobtrusive way.
Not just a photographer, Dan also becomes a special part of your day.
The turnaround in us receiving our images was so fast and from the moment we opened the gallery we were just in complete awe of them.
We have images that will allow us to relive our day and the special moments we shared with our guests, over and over again.
We are forever grateful and thankful we picked Dan as our wedding day photographer, we can’t ever thank you enough!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Daniel McClane as our wedding photographer in May 2025 in Wolverhampton and we genuinely couldn’t be happier with the experience.
Daniel was extremely professional but also laid back, which made us feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the day. He was friendly, calm, and completely unobtrusive which meant he was able to capture beautiful, candid moments without ever getting in the way.
One of the things we loved most about Daniel’s approach was his natural, documentary style. There weren’t many staged photos instead, he captured everything as it truly happened, which made the memories feel so much more real. A favourite moment of ours was when we were walking down the aisle leaving the church — the joy, the emotion, and the reactions of our guests were all captured perfectly in a single, beautiful shot.
He even stayed longer than planned to make sure he captured all the important moments that we wanted and we really appreciated his flexibility and dedication.
The photos were absolutely fantastic and we were amazed at how quickly we received them. Being able to relive the day so soon afterwards whilst in the sun on our minimoon was such a special gift.
We’re so grateful to Daniel for documenting our wedding so beautifully, and we would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a talented, easygoing, and reliable photographer. -

Where do we even start with Daniel? From the moment we booked him, he was an absolute dream to work with. Super responsive, easygoing, and completely tuned in to our vision — we wanted a focus on candid, natural moments over a long list of staged shots, and he just got it. Of course, we had a list of key photos we wanted, and he captured those beautifully, but what blew us away was everything in between.
My husband works in the wedding industry, so when it came to our own day, we only wanted the best of the best — and Daniel was exactly that. Not only is he incredibly talented, but he’s also one of the kindest, most down-to-earth people you’ll meet. Nothing was too much trouble, and he made the whole experience feel effortless.
When we got our photos back, we were genuinely in awe. The level of detail, the way he captured the feel of our black-and-white theme, and the number of special moments he managed to freeze in time — it was everything we could’ve hoped for and more.
If you’re thinking of booking Daniel, do it. You won’t be disappointed — if anything, you’ll end up wondering how you got so lucky to have him capture your day.

Dan is an extremely talented photographer who has captured the best parts of our special day! We booked Dan for our engagement shoot, pre wedding party and the big day.
We were quite apprehensive at the thought of an engagement shoot, as we decide to do it in the village where we live, and neither myself of John had ever had a ‘photshoot’ before. As soon as we met Dan we felt at ease and we really enjoyed the experience. We walked and talked whilst Dan took pictures and couldn’t believe how many beautiful moments he caught on camera.
The pre wedding party pictures were even better. Dan floated around capturing special moments between family and friends. Even though it was a busy event everyone commented on how nice and friendly Dan was, and they were amazed at the quality of the photos.
The wedding day was unforgettable and we especially enjoyed our time where we took our couples photos in the grounds of our venue. The photos are incredible and so special to us as we remember feeling so happy in those moments - The photos Dan took of us in the library are some of our favourites!
Overall we would 100% recommend Dan, his pictures captured the all the love, happiness and joy of our special day and we have so many images we will treasure for many years to come.
