Meet the team
Hi, I’m Lukas. I’m 18 years old and live in Pembrokeshire, Wales. I play rugby and ski almost every season, and I’ve set out to become a ski instructor by next January.
I have years of experience in photography, starting from the age of 11 onwards. I’m ambitious and hardworking, and when I want something done right, I prefer to do it myself. My standards for my work are high — I always aim to create the best work I can, and I strive to improve every time I go out and create. I don’t only have this mindset with photography, but with all experiences in life.
Don’t let my age put you off! I maintain a professional standard naturally, but I’m not a robot. I like to get to know the people I’m shooting for and create the most comfortable atmosphere possible. My high standards do not mean you’ll be met with a boring or overly serious photographer — instead, you’ll meet someone who brings smiles, laughter, and a genuine desire to make your day as comfortable and enjoyable as possible (within reason!).
Throughout my time shooting weddings, events, street photography, and portraits, I’ve noticed that these styles usually involve either an exaggerated, bold approach to your subject or a subtle, almost invisible style. For weddings, I always aim for the subtle approach. In my mind, people should be aware of the photographer but not distracted by them. I get the shot, but with the subtle approach, you often won’t realise it until you receive your gallery.
I don’t like getting in the way or being noticed during the sentimental parts of a wedding day, but when it’s needed, I can switch gears and confidently direct a room of 100+ people to get the best possible shot.
