We booked Matt for our wedding in August having met him at a wedding fair and having been really impressed by the examples of his work on show. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Matt to anyone looking for a documentary style photographer.
I really believe having a good rapport with your photographer is essential to enjoying your wedding day and when we were enquiring about booking Matt he took the time to arrange a call with us to find out more about us and what we wanted from our wedding day photographer. We ended up talking for an hour and that feeling continued onto the wedding day. On the day itself, the photographer is probably the person you spend most of the time with and Matt made both of us feel relaxed throughout. He has a great sense of humour and worked well with the videographer we had hired. Matt was also more than willing to accommodate requests for pictures from guests when he could fit them in.
Finally, Matt’s provides really useful clarity and simplicity with the package and options available around pricing.
We received the final gallery around 6 weeks after the wedding and the pictures were all gorgeous. We loved the candid style and Matt really managed to capture the feeling of the day. He also provides every photo in black and white as well as colour which is a nice touch. Overall, we’re so glad we chose Matt to be the photographer on our special day and we would not hesitate to recommend him. -

Absolutely fantastic
From the very beginning, Matt made us feel completely at ease. Neither myself nor Tom are the “posey” type, and the thought of being in front of the camera all day was a little daunting, but Matt’s warmth, humour and kindness put us instantly at ease. He felt more like a friend than a photographer, and that made all the difference.
What we loved most was how naturally he captured the day. Nothing ever felt forced — instead, he blended in so seamlessly that we often forgot he was there, yet he managed to capture the most beautiful, genuine moments. The laughter, the emotion, the little details we might have missed ourselves — they’re all there in the photos, and looking through them feels like reliving the day all over again.
Our wedding at Winters Barns was the happiest day of our lives, and thanks to Matt, we now have the most stunning collection of memories to treasure forever. His talent speaks for itself in the photos, but it’s his kindness, humour, and calming presence that truly made him such a joy to have with us on the day. We couldn’t recommend Matt enough to anyone looking for a photographer who not only takes incredible photos but also brings so much heart and warmth to the whole experience. -

We first met Matt at the wedding show at Salomon”s estate in Tunbridge wells back in 2023, he was really friendly, talked us through all his work and packages. He just knew we had to book him.
He kept has informed throughout the whole process until the wedding day.
On our wedding day, as Matt is a “ candid photographer, after our main pictures of the day Matt pretty much took amazing pictures without being invasive which is what we wanted. Best
photographer and we will highly recommend him.

Matt was simply BRILLIANT. He documented our day perfectly in natural and beautiful pictures.
Matt was super easy to deal with, very responsive and really understood exactly what we were looking for. The final pictures are amazing and really captured the atmosphere of our day. Highly highly recommend!
