About
I’m Emely, the wedding and editorial photographer behind House of Edwards, based in Bristol City, Bristol and across Europe and beyond. My work is deeply rooted in art, fashion, and feeling, where considered composition meets genuine connection.
Photography Style
My style is a blend of textural detail, intentional framing, and soft emotion, informed by years of experience shooting both film and digital, always focusing on elegance and refinement. Every image is composed with care, edited with precision, and created with longevity in mind.
Background
I studied photography at university, where I discovered my love for image-making. I’ve always been drawn to creativity. As someone who has dyslexia, I naturally think outside the box, and photography became my way of visually translating the world with purpose and emotion.
The Experience
People describe me as calm, observant, and quietly present, a steady hand on emotional days. Whether I’m capturing an intimate elopement or a celebration full of grandeur, my approach stays the same: elevated, emotional, and artfully honest. I’m passionate about sustainability, about working consciously and creatively, and about telling stories without limitation. I proudly work with a diverse client base, never boxing myself into one type of shoot or style.
