Gina Fernandes is a wedding photographer based in the East Midlands, working across the UK for couples who want their day documented as it actually happens, loud tables, quiet glances and everything in between. Her images carry real pace and personality: genuine conversations, the energy of a room picking up speed, the moments that pass in a blink whether anyone's watching or not. Gina is known for paying close attention to people, not just staging moments, capturing weddings with warmth and energy rather than posed perfection.
Services offered
Gina's approach blends documentary observation with a sharp eye for composition, resulting in authentic, unposed images with real atmosphere. She works closely with each couple to understand what matters most to them, adapting to a range of styles, budgets and wedding sizes, from intimate elopements to big, high-energy celebrations.
Full day photography coverage with 35mm film and a luxury album is £3500 but also, packages are built around flexible hourly coverage, so couples pay for exactly the time their day needs, alongside full-day options. Every collection includes a consultation, full editing of digital images and an online gallery, with 35mm film, bespoke albums, prints and additional coverage available as extras.

What does the wedding package include?

3 full frame digital cameras (Sony) and a range of prime lenses. Flash both on and off camera for low light situations.

Captured the spirit of our day in just a few hours!
We had a legal ceremony before our “proper” wedding abroad and wanted a photographer for the ceremony and a short photoshoot after before a casual evening with friends and family. Gina managed to work her magic and capture the whole spirit of our day in just a few hours of shooting! If anyone is on the fence as to whether they need a photographer, with Gina I can promise you won’t regret it! Also dog friendly.

Best wedding photographer ever!
We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding! Gina was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera, which really came through in the photos. Every shot is stunning, she captured the joy, emotion, and little moments so beautifully. We are beyond thrilled with how everything turned out. Highly recommend Gina to anyone looking for a talented, warm, and professional photographer!

Emotional, beautiful, and effortless - Gina is a dream photographer
Gina is absolutely INCREDIBLE. Her work truly speaks for itself, the images she captured left us gobsmacked!!!! We honestly don’t know how she managed to turn around so many stunning sneak peeks so quickly, but we were blown away.

Literally perfect
I cannot speak highly enough of Gina. She is a tremendous person; affable, super easy to get along with; and an incredible photographer with a magnificent eye for both detail and "the big picture".
She made us feel comfortable throughout the process both from communication before the day (which was brilliantly thorough and gave us space to think about a number of important things), and on the day by her demeanour and ability to relay what she wanted in straightforward terms.
We got some "sneak peeks" very promptly after the wedding, and the rest of the photos ~2 months after the event, which to my understanding is very snappy indeed.
Book her. She's great.

Gina is quite simply, the BEST.
If there is one thing I urge you to do on your wedding day (if she's available on your date because she is VERY popular) is to book Gina Fernandes for your wedding photography.
Gina is quite simply a goddess behind the lens, she makes you feel comfortable, at home in her company and wherever you choose to have your photos taken.
On the days leading up to the ceremony she was in touch with detailed plans for how you wanted the photography to look. We opted for full documentary style with no staged photos, this was the BEST decision we ever made. We didn't even notice Gina there, she blended in seamlessly.
On the days after our wedding, Gina was travelling but she still found the time (from where I don't know?!) to deliver the most gorgeous sneak peek photos, which, when I saw them, prompted my jaw to hit the floor. We've never looked more ourselves and so good!
Thank you Gina, for taking the time and care to understand us as a couple and for delivering such a beautiful experience for our big day. We will never forget it.
