We first met Rick at a wedding fair where there were a number of other photographers displaying their product. As well as liking Ricks personable approach, we also liked the style of his wedding photography and knew he was a perfect match for us. This turned out to be exactly the case. Rick is a very talented photographer. He captured some truly beautiful shots on our special day as well as some lovely candid shots of both ourselves, our family and guests. He is very professional and approachable. One great advantage for us was Rick's prior knowledge of our wedding venue, having worked there on many other wedding occasion, this meant he knew the format and running order of the day and how to get the best shots at that location . Having his guidance and reassurance kept the morning calm and enjoyable. We have no hesitation in recommending Rick Dell Photography for your special day. We absolutely made the right decision in choosing Rick for our wedding.
Very friendly, efficient and professional.
He was so supportive on the day, helping with button holes & adjusting the train on my dress to display it to its best.
He was great at getting the shots we asked for, and extras that we hadn’t thought of - but Rick had!! … and we are so glad as we would have missed the set up of the room, the tables, etc.

Rick was our wedding photographer at Mere Court, Knutsford this summer and we would recommend him to anyone. He knew what photos he wanted and how to get them but was also very responsive to our wishes of what we wanted too. He knew the venue very well and had a great relationship with the staff and some of our other vendors which was a great help. He’s friendly but assertive in just the way you need a wedding photographer to be. We found meeting Rick for a pre wedding shoot a great touch so we knew what to expect on the day. Also the post wedding meeting to finalize what we wanted was also great. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience, great value with no negatives.Rick Dell Photography's reply:

We had the pleasure of Rick taking our wedding pictures on 2nd August 2025 at Mere Court Hotel.
From the second meeting Rick at the pre-shoot he put us both at ease. He was lovely throughout and so easy to get on with.
The hard work he put in on our wedding day didn’t go unnoticed. He was professional at all times, full of ideas and made sure everything we asked for was included in our day.
We received so many compliments from our guests to say how lovely he was.
The turnaround time to receive our pictures back was very quick. Our photographs are beautiful and captured our day perfectly, they are so natural and show how much everyone enjoyed our day.
It’s so hard to choose pictures for our wedding book as they are all genuinely amazing but I know once we receive our book it will be such a lovely piece with great memories.
Thank you so much for capturing our day and also taking the time to spend it with us. We will definitely recommend you to everyone in the future.

When we first met Rick, we were instantly put at ease with his friendly and jolly manner. His professionalism reassured us straight away, that he would deliver exactly what we wanted on our wedding day. We were not disappointed. The pre wedding photoshoot was a brilliant way for us all to get to know each other, which helped tremendously on the big day. Bright and early, Rick was there, capturing every minute of our special day, and kept us relaxed and happy during the build-up of the day. When we received the photos, they were incredible. In fact, there were so many brilliant photos, the hardest part was for us to choose which ones we wanted for the album. When the album was completed, we could not have been happier, and proud to re-live the day with our family and friends who also loved the photos. Well done Rick. What an incredible journey! Working with Rick was nothing short of amazing—he truly blew us away in every possible way!
We first crossed paths with Rick at a wedding fair at the Mere Court Hotel, an event we almost decided to skip! Looking back, we’re beyond grateful that we went! After chatting with him and getting a glimpse of his breathtaking portfolio, we knew there and then he was the right photographer for our big day!
Before the wedding, Rick organized a pre-photo shoot that wasa fun experience! It helped us relax in front of the camera and gave us a chance to get to know each other more. The stunning images he captured during that day only fueled our excitement for what was to come!
On our wedding day, Rick arrived early, scouting out the most amazing locations for photos even before we got there! He kept the atmosphere light and filled the day with laughter, making us feel completely at ease.
Rick blended seamlessly with our guests, capturing every single moment—and so much more! His eye for detail was evident in every photo, and we couldn’t have asked for more dedication on our special day.
When it came time to view our photos, we were absolutely blown away by the sheer volume—over 1,000 stunning shots! It was such an exhilarating experience to relive our day through those images. To top it off, Rick surprised us with thoughtful gifts and a card, which we were extremely grateful for!
