Miriam was an excellent photographer to work with. She was really organised in the run up to the day, explaining everything we should expect and with great communication as we planned our wedding. We wanted to go with the flow on the day with candid photos rather than too many posed shots, which she did a wonderful job of capturing. She was highly flexible, arriving early and staying a bit later to make sure all the key moments were captured. We knew Miriam was the photographer for us from the moment we met her. After we first enquired, she suggested a quick call so we could get to know each other, and she immediately put us at ease. Neither of us is particularly comfortable having our photo taken, and it probably wasn't the part of the wedding day we were most looking forward to. However, Miriam took the time to explain exactly how everything would work, which made us feel completely relaxed and confident.

She also suggested a pre wedding shoot, which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. It gave us the chance to get used to being in front of the camera and meant we knew exactly what to expect on the wedding day. The photos from the shoot were beautiful and we were even able to use them in our wedding newspaper, which made it extra special.

On the day itself, Miriam was an absolute pleasure to have around. She organised the family group photos with ease, but where she really shines is in capturing those natural, candid moments. She blended into the background so effortlessly that we barely noticed she was there, yet she managed to capture so many incredible moments that we would otherwise have missed. Some of our favourite photos are the ones where nobody even realised they were being photographed. She also captured so many wonderful moments of our family and friends, and those memories are something we'll treasure forever.

To top it all off, Miriam delivered our photos just as we returned from our honeymoon, so coming home to relive our wedding day was the perfect ending to such an amazing experience.
