Based in the West Midlands, the Capriccio team has over 20 years’ experience in making your day special. Lynette, our founder is available to advise and discuss all aspects of music and can even get a quartet arrangement of your favourite song, if it’s not already in our set lists of over 280 pieces.

What is included in the wedding package?

Typically we will play before your ceremony, play you in, for the signing of the documents, play you out, and then play for the drinks reception. We can, of course, tailor all of this to your wishes

How far in advance should I contact you?

The earlier the better. We can sometimes take bookings a month or two in advance, but lots of couples book us a year and more ahead. If you're not yet sure then we can pencil you in while we chat

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

Absolutely. There is normally a small charge for this, but if we haven't got that song that you've set your heart on walking down the aisle to then we will have by the time you do!

What's your experience?

Capriccio was formed in 2001 with seasoned professionals who know the wedding business intimately. A typical year will have us performing in over 90 weddings, so we have a huge amount of experience

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Yes, protection from wind, rain and strong sunshine, and enough space to play, please

Can you travel?

Yes, worcestershire, West Midlands, The Cotswolds, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire

Is there a charge for travelling?

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

What is the length of time of the act?

Typically we are booked for two to three hours, but this is entirely flexible to meet your needs

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

We arrive half an hour before we start

Do you do open-air acts?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

How do you charge extra time?

You can book us in advance for any duration you wish. Changes on the day are not always easy to organise

What are the forms of payment?

Bank transfer. If this is problem then just let us know. We ask for a 20% deposit on booking

Magical ambience guaranteed

Lovely reception music

Capriccio played our wedding ceremony and for the drinks reception for our wedding at Pauntley Court in June this year. They were absolutely fabulous, so many guests commented on how lovely it was to hear them playing throughout the day, it really added something special. They were also kind enough to learn a new song for us for my walk down the aisle too, something we are so grateful for and will always remember how special that moment was. Would definitely recommend. Thank you so much!

Manor by the Lake, Cheltenham

We are so glad we booked Capriccio Quartet for our wedding. We had lots of songs to choose from and they were happy to accommodate some special requests for us. Everyone enjoyed the music during the ceremony and reception. Having live music really made the day special and the booking process was fantastic and well handled., They know the venue well and work with them directly, which took away a lot of stress from us.

Gloucestershire Wedding - August 2019

We had so many comments about Capriccio Quartet from our guests. As I got ready, I could hear them playing which was lovely and it was a wonderful welcome for our guests. The music really made the atmosphere calm, welcoming and enjoyable. It was just what we wanted! Little Comberton Church Wedding, Worcestershire

Amazing, personalised customer service. Stunning array of music from playing Beethoven as I walked down the aisle to some lovely pop songs such as Adele and everything in between. They performed hymns in the church and these wonderful musicians made our day perfect. They couldn’t do enough for us to make our day special - highly recommend.

Wedding Ceremony in Berkshire 7/9/19

Capriccio Quartet were absolutely amazing; all our guests commented on how fantastic they sounded and set the scene for the day. We had a slight hiccup at the start of the ceremony and all I can say is that the quartet went above and beyond for us. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quartet for their wedding.

Worcestershire Wedding

We had nearly given up hope of having a string quartet due to budget restraints, however we found Capriccio Quartet who were better value than many others. We did wonder “where’s the catch?” However, their repertoire of songs was perfect, their customer service was fantastic and on the day they performed fantastically. They also had to move between the church and the reception venue and did so seamlessly. We would definitely recommend and use Capriccio again - thank you!

July Wedding

Having gone back over the day with my new husband and reminisced with the guests, we cannot actually find even the tiniest speck of fault with Capriccio Quartet!
