Velvet Keys are a talented, experienced and dynamic all live five piece band delivering a highly entertaining and eclectic mix of dance floor favourites through the decades. Dedicated craftsmanship has gone into recreating songs from artists such as Amy Winehouse, ABBA, Taylor Swift, Adele, Cher, Queen and Bon Jovi, among many more. The band love to see a full dance floor and work hard to ensure every couple and their guests have a wonderful time.

Playing regularly across the country, Velvet Keys have spent many hours crafting their sound to ensure a quality live performance for every wedding. Fully self contained, the band bring an excellent modern PA system with spectacular lighting and are fully insured, making them a reliable choice for your big day.

Eva Evangelou, Lead vocals
Cyprus born and raised, Eva grew up performing across her home island before taking her voice further afield. She fronted the cabaret scene as lead singer at Charleston Cabaret Club Rome and held a resident singer role at the five star Hilton hotel. She has since fronted a number of pop cover bands, always bringing the party wherever she goes. Now she is the voice behind Velvet Keys, delivering soulful pop covers that get whole rooms up, dancing and singing along. Alongside the band, Eva is building her own sound as an independent artist, releasing original music. Expect high energy, warm crowd interaction and a room that feels like one big singalong by the end of the night, the perfect atmosphere for a wedding celebration.

Kev, Bass and Synth
Kev is classically trained and plays guitar, bass guitar, keyboards and brass. He has played in covers and function bands since the age of twenty, notching up thousands of gigs, including the Royal Albert Hall, Leeds Town Hall, Manchester Free Trade Hall and Southwark Cathedral, among others. He has also worked with the BBC, Sky TV and Yorkshire Television, and has been a professional musician since 1998.

Pete, Keyboards
Pete started his professional music career aged nineteen, playing sessions with Shakin Stevens and Haircut 100, and has performed at venues such as Liverpool Empire, Blackpool Opera House and Harrogate Convention Centre, among many others. He has played hundreds of weddings, parties and events, and has also worked as a session musician.

Alan, Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals
Alan is a fantastic guitar player who has performed across the UK for many years, including with Ant and Dec at major corporate events and at the Channel 5 charity ball. He has played weddings up and down the country and is regarded as one of the finest lead guitarists in the north of England.

Damo, Drums
Damo has been playing drums from a very young age, performing at countless weddings, parties, corporate events and festivals, including Leeds Festival and Party in the Park, with artists such as Peter Andre and Louise Redknapp. This has led to various recording sessions and live radio work at venues large and small across the country.
