Sussex DJ Company creates wedding celebrations across East Sussex, West Sussex and Kent, with music planned around each couple and a professional setup to suit their venue.
MUSIC PLANNING WITHOUT THE OVERWHELM
Couples do not need to choose every song for their wedding. Sussex DJ Company helps them share their favourites, identify the songs that really matter and flag anything they would rather avoid. The DJ then uses that brief and reads the room as the evening develops.
The private PlanningBeats portal keeps song suggestions, the first dance, the last dance and do not play choices in their own sections. Already have a Spotify playlist? It can be brought into the music planning process. For a first dance, the team checks the exact recording and whether guests should join in, including an agreed cue if the couple would like one.
Couples can also discuss cake cutting, announcement wording and the running order with the team, so the plan reflects how they want the evening to feel.

What is the length of time of the act?
A typical evening DJ booking includes five hours of playing time. Longer or all-day coverage can be quoted. Setup is agreed separately for the venue and equipment

We normally allow around 90 minutes for a standard DJ setup. We agree access and setup times with your venue; packages with additional equipment may need longer

The best dj!
We could not have asked for a better DJ at our recent wedding. Set up went really well, he was professional and communicated through the evening to check if there was anything we wanted played. My worst nightmare was an empty dancefloor but i need not have worried! Worked really well with our saxophonist and he kept the dancefloor packed all night and everyone has mentioned how perfect it was. He even finished the night with the most perfect song by the brides favourite band and he had not been told this beforehand!! Amazing.

DJ and Photo Booth for Wedding
We hired Ashley at Sussex DJ Company to DJ at our wedding and provide the magic mirror photobooth.
The magic mirror photobooth was an absolute smash hit with all of our guests. Everyone loved the fun props and the instant printouts, and getting the scrapbook of the photos at the end of the night is such a special keepsake for us to look back on. It created so many great memories.
Ashley was fantastic as the DJ. He played a huge mix of genres and completely nailed the vibe based on the sample playlist we provided. He kept people on the dance floor until the very last song of the night and handled guest song requests without hesitation.
The evening had an amazing atmosphere and so many of our guests came up to us afterward to tell us how much fun they had. We highly recommend Sussex DJ Company!

Fantastic!!!!
Ashley was the perfect DJ for us! The dance floor war packed all night and he read the room perfectly. He even let us use the mic for a bit of an impromptu karaoke! We had a 14x14 dance floor and giant letters which he managed to set up really quickly, too. Honestly can’t recommend him enough. Thank you for making our wedding day so fun🫶

Incredible DJ really could read a party
We had an absolutely amazing experience with Ashley of Sussex DJ Comany! He was organised, friendly, and completely professional from start to finish. What impressed us most was how well he read the crowd — within minutes, he had everyone on their feet, and the dance floor stayed full for hours. The energy never dropped, and he created the perfect vibe for our celebration. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who knows how to keep the party going!

Fantastic wedding DJ
We booked Sussex DJ Company for our wedding, and DJ Ashley was absolutely brilliant from start to finish! He was punctual, professional, and made the whole silent disco experience seamless and so much fun.
Ashley had everything set up on time and was really easy to work with in the lead-up to the day. The music selection was spot on, there was something for everyone, and our guests absolutely loved switching between channels and dancing the night away. It created such a fun and unique atmosphere that people are still talking about!

June Wedding
Ashley and the team were a PERFECT fit for our day! They arrived within plenty of time and set everything up so so well! We had a comedy group perform at our wedding as well and he worked with them so well to achieve an amazing performance for our guests! We also hired the photo booth and confetti cannons for our first dance and they worked perfectly to make it so magical for us. Highly highly recommend! Thank you!😀🤍

Mr & Mrs Elliot Wedding
Ashley and Alfie were absolutely incredible! Everything we asked for we received and more! The attention to detail was spot on and they truly made our wedding reception what it was… perfect!! From the dance floor to the Photo Booth and our own light up letters we couldn’t of asked for more! We even had personal requests which were no problem for Ashley and he really made the wedding party come to life and made it that extra special! If you need a DJ for your next event then Sussex DJ Company is the only events company you should consider! You won’t regret it! Amazing DJ
We hired Sussex DJ Company for our wedding and can not recommend Ashley enough! He had our guests up on the dancefloor all night! Read the room for music amazingly!
We also hired a magic mirror, dancefloor, room lighting and MR & Mrs letters which just added that little extra to our day all was set up quickly and efficiently.
