We honestly couldn’t recommend Gary enough. From our very first message, he was approachable, friendly, and so easygoing, which made the whole process of planning our music and entertainment such a joy. He was incredibly organised, communicative, and genuinely cared about making sure everything ran smoothly on the day.
On the night itself, he was amazing. He was working seamlessly with both our photographer and saxophonist to create the perfect atmosphere from start to finish. The transitions, song choices, and energy were all spot on, and it truly showed how much experience and passion he has for what he does. The dance floor was never empty: everyone was up dancing, smiling, and having the best time!
The Photo Booth was also such a brilliant addition, it gave us so many fun memories to look back on. It was such a great deal for everything we got, and it really added to the relaxed, joyful vibe we wanted for our evening.
Thank you so much for being such a huge part of our wedding day and for creating an atmosphere we’ll never forget. You helped make it the celebration of our dreams, full of love, laughter, and music.

We had our wedding in July at Singer Tavern and Gary helped us to make it an amazing day- we couldn’t recommend him highly enough!
From the pre-wedding call right through to the wedding itself, he was fantastic. We had a detailed call beforehand and provided documents with our chosen songs, artists and genres for the different parts of the day, and Gary used all of this to create amazing set lists that worked perfectly for us.
He also read the room brilliantly on the night and adapted the music, which made such a difference. We had so many comments from our guests about how good the music was and how much they enjoyed the music!
Gary is really chilled, easy to deal with and completely professional. He made the whole process effortless and delivered exactly what we wanted, while bringing his own expertise to make the night work.
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding and would 100% recommend Gary for any event! -

Gary was great! We got married during the heatwave and decided last minute we wanted to move the reception outside, Gary was more than happy to accommodate and everyone loved it!! It made the day even more special and memorable. The playlist was great and he did so well to combine our UK / Romanian guests and music tastes. Thank you so much! -

We're so so happy with Gary and Fizz & Groove! We had amazing service from first contact, he was super friendly and helpful and such a nice professional guy on the day - no fuss setup and a lovely attitude. We had a slightly less dance-y crowd than I suspect is at most weddings, but he kept the vibe going so well the dance floor was never empty. Highly recommend! -

Great party + smooth setup
We were happy we went with Fizz and Groove! Communication leading up to the event with Gary was smooth. On our wedding day, they got set up quietly and smoothly, not detracting from the wedding dinner, and the equipment worked great. Our DJ Aaron was friendly and professional. Music went well for the cake cutting, first dance, and then all the dancing to follow. Early on in dancing I was worried about how reserved the crowd was being, but Aaron reassured me that they'd warm up quickly, which turned out to be the case. The one reservation we had is that not all the songs in our Must-Play playlist got played (one of our friends works in the music industry and we had wanted to honor him by playing some hits he'd worked on). All in all, though, Fizz and Groove were professional and threw a great party, and all of our guests had a lovely time. -

Gary from Fizz and Groove was a really great DJ! Communication from the outset was very very good, and he also sent us such a handy tool to make our list of songs. On the day he judged the vibes well and in spite of our challenging guests who all wanted to run out and be in the fields all evening after a heatwave of a wedding day! He made a bunch of cool mixes as well, incorporating Bollywood music we had shortlisted and English music. His lighting set up was also fantastic. Highly recommend! -

Mitesh and Gary were good to work with, and they helped execute our day well. In terms of their strengths, Mitesh was an excellent party DJ and could read the dance floor well, and kept people happily dancing for several hours which is an impressive feat for a small wedding of around 50 guests. Gary was flexible when we were able to chat, and we felt like he was able to help us with our requests for outdoor service, announcing, etc..
However, there were some hiccups through the day that we wish had been avoided, and we wish we had more chances to discuss our day in greater detail with both of them. It worked out, but we did need more time with them that we just were not able to get. We had requested that specific versions of our first dance songs be played (as we had cut them to length), and that just did not happen, leading to an unfortunate surprise on the dance floor as songs were longer than expected, though we were able to roll with it.
Mitesh was also unfortunately not present during some key times, and our wedding coordinator had to go look for him a few times to resolve volume issues and to make a couple announcements. It did improve through the night as he looked closer at the schedule, and he was much more on it and present as the night went on.
Overall, they were very flexible with us and the day went well, but perhaps we could have done better to coordinate together.Fizz and Groove's reply:

It would have been nice to discuss this before it was posted and blemished our 100% 5 star record. I have been running Fizz and Groove since 2019 and this is the first review we have had with less than 5 stars.
I have spoken to Mitesh and he said that the venue were unaware that they were feeding him so he had to go and speak to them and then they gave him food at the same time you and your guests ate. They put him in another room, which is extremely common with suppliers meals at weddings. When someone came to get him he dropped everything and done as he was asked.
The alternative would have been him having to leave the venue to go and find some food, which would not be ideal and would have meant he would not have been able to return as quickly when you needed him. A full day wedding is a very long days work and the opportunity to sit down and have a meal is very important, as otherwise the DJ will not be at their best come 10/11pm.
Re having the opportunity to discuss your day beforehand with me - you had my mobile number and I rang you on quite a few occasions and Mitesh also had a pre wedding call with you. I am sorry that this doesn't appear to be enough. If I am honest I am not sure what more we could have done. I would have loved to explore this with you in private.
Before the wedding you supplied Mitesh with access to a google drive, which he downloaded the tracks from and played on the night. We are at a bit of a loss and I dont understand how it can be our fault if the songs were longer than expected, we can only go by what you send us.

I cant help thinking that the 4 stars is a bit harsh and if we had spoken and maybe I could have explained why he was not in the room, maybe we could have avoided this.
Anyway, I wish you a very happy marriage. I am glad that it sounds like we managed to bring you some happiness at least.

We have been thoroughly impressed with how Gary and his team consistently perform for couples, and have only had positive feedback from our couples. The diversity of DJ styles within the team means whatever the theme or vibe you need, Fizz and Groove will be able to accommodate. They have now become our resident DJ's, and we are SO looking forward to another year of weddings with them -

We were awful and had a list as long as your arm for songs not to be played but Gary was so kind and accommodating about it - even said some were songs he wouldn't dream of anyway!
Our guests loved the photobooth and the photos were amazing and so funny - such a great set up being able to email them there and then that evening. Music was a blast and the dance floor always had people on it. -

Superb! Quality! Professional! Party!
We used Fizz and Groove for our wedding this weekend and the service was spot on from start to finish! Gary was always quick to respond to any queries and Mitesh pulled it out the bag on the night! The set up was superb! We went for the top package which included a Photo Booth, shimmer wall and neon sign. The guests loved it all and commented not only on the music but how it all looked aesthetically too! We went for the rustic DJ booth and Photo Booth.. it really was great and fitted in with my rustic theme perfectly! Give these guys a call and let them get the party started!!! -
