This band were unbelievable. They’ve got such a brilliant sound , i can’t tell you how many comments i got from people complimenting how amazing they were. Dance floor was filled all night, was just gutted when it was over!
The bloody bee’s knees out of ten these lads, would 110% recommend.
Thank you Joe and the boys for making our wedding day top notch, we can’t begin to explain how much we loved having you

Couldn’t recommend these guys enough!
From the moment we booked them, the communication was great throughout and the meeting with Joe at the start really put us at ease and gave us all a chance to get to know each other.
The day of the wedding, they were quick to set up and started the evening off with an amazing set list. The dance floor was packed all night and we received so many compliments about how great the band was after!
They also learnt two of our favourite songs and did an incredible job with both, we absolutely loved it.

These guys were perfect from begining to end, I really can't fault them! They were 100% responsive from the begining with my initial enquiry and answered all and any questions I had. Everything was easy with them and their setlist was faultless. They got everyone up and dancing and are just top guys all round. Anyone who puts up with mine and my now husbands dancing deserves a true recommendation! Thank you so much guys ❤️ -

We couldn't have been happier with The Pretty Ugly! From our very first conversation, they were friendly, professional and incredibly helpful. They took the time to understand the style of music we were looking for and provided a full song list so we could highlight our favourites, as well as any songs we didn't want played.
One of the biggest highlights was our first dance. They created a bespoke arrangement of our chosen song and even sent us a recording beforehand so we could practise. It was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel so much more relaxed going into the day.
In the run-up to the wedding, they were brilliant at offering advice on timings for the evening, helping us plan everything around the buffet, first dance and photographer to make sure the night flowed perfectly.
On the day itself, they were fantastic. Despite having to carry all of their equipment across a bridge and down stairs in 29°C heat, they brought amazing energy from the moment they started playing. Our guests were up dancing, with a brilliant mix of songs that appealed to every generation. We've had so many compliments from our guests about how great the band were.
The Pretty Ugly are incredibly talented, professional and a pleasure to work with. We'd recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for a live band that will make their wedding evening unforgettable!

The pretty ugly were absolutely amazing. They played the best music ever with us being massive 80s fans. Everyone was up and dancing and still talking about them now. The lads were so nice and so friendly. We had a pre call with them before the day and ironed everything out deciding on songs etc. they were so professional. Could have listened to them all night. Thank you so much again. You really were worth every penny if not more!

We hired The Pretty Ugly for our evening reception and they did not disappoint!! All our evening guests have raved about them ever since and we are so happy we made the decision to hire them. They learnt a song for our first dance which was just perfect, played constant bangers and helped with our setlist. Josh Sent on 27/05/2026The Best Wedding Band I’ve Seen, They Went Above and Beyond With the Best Surprise for Us
We can’t thank them enough, they made our day super special. The acoustic set as guests arrived was so lovely and really helped create the perfect atmosphere, and the pop-rock disco in the evening was one of the highlights of the day.
During our consultation, we mentioned that we weren’t sure which track to use for our first dance. As a surprise, after our first dance they had learned our second song for us, which was such a special moment. Lots of guests commented on how lovely it was.
The biggest compliment I can give is that we had a few guests attending who were musicians themselves, and several of them commented on how technically talented the band were, on top of bringing great vibes and professionalism. They were completely set up before any guests arrived and even helped with the audio for speeches too, which really felt like them going above and beyond.The Pretty Ugly - Pop-Rock & 80s Wedding Trio's reply:

We can’t thank The Pretty Ugly band enough for making our wedding reception an absolute party. From the beginning communication was easy and we had the booking, songs and information organised quickly and smoothly. An especially key moment was the trio learning by favourite song to finish the night off.
We managed to create a vibe a calmer atmosphere after our meal & then a party to finish the night.
