  Just book him!

  John DJ’d at our wedding reception last night and I couldn’t run here fast enough to write a review.
  
  From the minute I made an enquiry with John I felt reassured that I’d made the right choice of DJ. He was quick to respond, professional and tbh just really cool. The portal to upload songs and requests made the whole experience so much better as we knew we could easily let John know what music genres we wanted.
  
  On the night…
  Where do we even start?! 🤌🏼 John was ABSOLUTELY unreal. From the second he started playing, my husband and I looked at each other with that knowing look of “this is about to be 🔥”. We didn’t want a traditional cheesy wedding disco. We wanted a r&b/hip hop heavy set, with a few classics thrown in. The dance floor was packed and it genuinely didn’t empty all night.
  
  He completely understood the vibe we wanted and somehow managed to play every song that had everyone screaming, singing and throwing themselves around the dance floor 😂 The atmosphere was INSANE and so many of our guests have said the DJ was one of the highlights of the whole day.
  
  He absolutely smashed it. Great music, great energy and just the perfect person to have behind the decks for our wedding.
  
  If you’re debating whether to book him… DO IT. It’s not surprising he gets booked up with back to back events We honestly couldn’t recommend him enough.
  
  10/10. Would get married again just to have that party back. 😂

  Wedding Party 19th Sept 2026

  Absolutely fantastic experience with John, very professional throughout even when there was a lot going on with the setting up he was very helpful and very professional throughout.
  Was super fast and responsive throughout the booking process.
  
  The Mrs & Mrs signs were perfect and added a great touch to our marquee.
  
  Couldn’t recommend John enough, a must booking if you are looking for a DJ.

  Amazing DJ service for our wedding!

  We honestly couldn’t recommend Southwest Discos Direct enough! John was absolutely brilliant from start to finish and made the whole process so easy.
  
  He was incredibly helpful and accommodating with all of our requests, and even helped us with booking a Photo Booth, which was such a great addition to our wedding. The online portal for requesting songs was really easy to use and meant we could make sure all of our favourites were included.
  
  On the day, his set-up looked incredibly professional and, most importantly, he had people on the dance floor all night! The music was perfect and created such a brilliant atmosphere for our wedding at The Barn at Upcote.
  
  Thank you so much for helping make our wedding so special. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or event!

  Wedding DJ review

  We couldn’t have been happier with John as our wedding DJ. He was fantastic from start to finish, making the whole process easy, loved the ability to add songs we wanted and didn’t want to the playlist prior to the day. The music was exactly what we wanted, with a great mix of genres that kept the dance floor busy all night. We’ve had so many compliments from our guests about the music and DJ, and we’d highly recommend John to anyone

  On point music

  V responsive to emails and communication. We were an hour behind our schedule yet John delivered a great dj set for our evening entertainment at our wedding. The dance floor was always full. Thank you so much.

  Incredible DJ

  Couldn’t be happier with the DJ service provided by southwest discos for our wedding day! Everyone has been raving about the playlist that catered to all ages and kept the dance floor busy all evening, even during a 33 degree heatwave. Arrived in good time and set up looked great, exactly what we wanted! Thank you again for such an outstanding service, would highly recommend to anyone looking to hire a wedding DJ

  Fantastic!!

  Thank you so much to John for DJ’ing our wedding! Despite the venue being extremely hot causing lots of guests to go outside, John kept delivering whether the crowd was 5 or 50! Had so many guests saying how good the music was and the energy that he brought. 10/10 would recommend!

  Fantastic wedding DJ - 17/06/2026

  Thank you SO much to John! He was fantastic from start to finish. Great charismatic guy who really fitted in with our party! Set up looked incredible and we got multiple compliments. Online portal to request songs/do not plays was excellent as our guests could also request before the eve. He took requests from me and my groom all eve and even threw in a few footy chants as England’s first World Cup game as on! Excellent service, great value for money and would highly recommend.   Absolute legend

  John was absolutely amazing, he kept the dance floor full all night. Even mixing in some rogue request songs throughout the night, he just absolutely smashed it. We both would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding. Thank you again John.

  Honestly John was amazing

  We just wanted to say a huge thank you for being part of our special day. Thank you for playing all the music we requested – everyone absolutely loved the playlist and the atmosphere it created throughout the day.
  
  We also hired the Photo Pod and flower wall from John, and they were a massive hit with all of our guests. It was fantastic that all the photos and videos were uploaded to a link and shared before he left, allowing everyone to enjoy and relive the memories straight away.
  
  If you’re looking for a DJ, we would highly recommend John. His service was professional, friendly, and helped make our day truly special. We hope to use his services again in the future!
