Where do we even begin? From the very first enquiry to the final song of the night, Al and the team at DJ Services Cornwall were simply incredible.
From day one, Al made us feel like we were more than just another booking. He was professional, responsive and genuinely cared about making our wedding everything we had imagined. He checked in with us regularly throughout the planning process, always putting us first and making sure every detail was exactly right. He even met us at The Alverton before the wedding to walk through the plans in person, which gave us so much confidence that everything would run seamlessly.
On the day itself, both Al and Leon was absolutely fantastic. They wasn't just our wedding DJ, they became part of the day. From the wedding breakfast right through to the evening celebrations, they made sure everything flowed perfectly, reading the room brilliantly and creating an amazing atmosphere for us and all of our guests.
The sound and lighting were exceptional and our first dance with the dry ice effect was everything we had dreamed of. It looked incredible and created such a special moment that we'll never forget.
What many people won't see is just how much coordination goes on behind the scenes. Our day involved multiple suppliers, including a large live band, the dance floor provider and the cold fountain company, all of which had to be carefully coordinated. Al and Leon handled everything professionally, working seamlessly with everyone involved so that every transition happened effortlessly. We never had to worry about a thing because we knew we were in safe hands.
When you book DJ Services Cornwall, your not simply booking a wedding DJ. You're booking someone who genuinely cares about their clients, takes immense pride in their reputation, communicates brilliantly and goes above and beyond to make your day as perfect as possible.
We honestly cannot thank Al enough for everything he did to make our wedding at The Alverton so unforgettable. Well what can we say, a phenomenal night that we and all of our guests will remember for years to come. The playslist made by Al was amazing and really captured the vibe we were going for. He used our choices of songs and blended them seemlessly to make for an absolutely banging night!!!
All the guests and the wedding venue were commenting on how good it was.
We added lasers and uplighting outside and it really made the difference. It brought all the areas together and completely transformed the dance floor.
Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a DJ, especially for a wedding.DJ Services Cornwall's reply:

What a pair of lovely guys. We booked D J Services Cornwall for our wedding in August 2026. We hired them to do our evening disco and to do our photography and highlights video. Al and Leon listened to our hopes and wishes and excelled at delivering a brilliant mix of natural and some posed photos, just as we had asked of them. They took the time to understand our taste in music and played tracks we loved, filling the dance floor. Throughout our day, from wedding arrivals and ceremony to the end of our day, they were friendly, very funny and relaxed, and put both guests and ourselves at ease. Their experience really shone through and they just knew what needed to be done and when. We highly recommend Al and Leon for anyone looking for either, a DJ or, a photographer/DJ package like we had. Their disco/entertainment equipment is top notch and they have themes to suit all types of wedding. We chose the white VW front for our set up as we are avid motorhomers and just loved that look. Their sound and lighting systems are spectacular. There were unexpected little things that we'd forgotten about in our package too, such as the 'selfie wizard' which they set up for guests to upload photos and messages for the bride and groom. The light show during the disco included a personalised 'Mr and Mrs Holme' which projected around the room and onto the dance floor. A nice touch. On the day, they took about 800 photos and lots of videos. These all came to us via links in an email, a few days after our wedding and we were easily able to view and download, then keep them all as part of our package. We couldn't have been happier. Best duo for a big part of your day.
We met Al and Leon at a wedding fair at royal Cornwall showground, they grabbed our attention from the first moment with how they presented themselves. After having the initial chat with Al we were very impressed with the equipment and ideas that he possesses for the price they offer it was a no brainer. He was not pushy and gave us plenty of space and time to think but from that moment we knew DJ Services Cornwall were the guys that could make our vision a reality. Leading up to the big day the guys were very transparent and informative on what needed to be done.
The Big day had arrived and the time was agreed for 8:15 for the bridal party but the guys had turned up at 7:45 ready to go with the energy they had brought with them.
Not only did they supply us with their top photography skills they took control of the whole day and ensured everything ran super smoothly and on time. Not only did they supply us with their photography the DJ skills they showed that night was top level and the mixing just flowed so smoothly all evening long right up until the final song.
If you are looking for a service that will provide two major parts of your day Al and Leon are definitely your guys. Very professional but also very personal. You’ll never look back if you boom with these guys.DJ Services Cornwall's reply:

Leon and Al, what a team they are, both of them DJ but we had the pleasure of Leon for our party. He had everyone on the dancefloor, no cheesy shoutouts or arrogance, he just curated the whole playlist, honouring so many of our requests (sent before via email) and the dance floor was packed right up to midnight. Not only this but their lighting, lasers, display and sound quality are the best out there, absolutely festival level. A service beyond words!
Al and Leon are absolutely fantastic! They made the whole process effortless from start to finish. Value for money, communication and the service provided really was beyond words. They worked so hard to put together a personalised playlist based off our choices and put on a fantastic show to boot! They fit right in with the wedding party and it’s evident they love what they do. They also provided us with wedding party photography and video which was sent to us in VERY good time after the day. Put together an amazing light show, set up and atmosphere, all with little personal touches as well. We really cannot recommend DJ services Cornwall highly enough! If you want a great party, with great atmosphere, great set up and 2 great hosts, you should definitely book to have Al and Leon at your wedding!DJ Services Cornwall's reply:

Al and Leon were amazing at our wedding. Since we met them 2 years ago at the Royal Cornwall Show, they have always been in contact, never had to chase them & very quick with replies.
They went above and beyond for our special day. (We bought the silver package with the Photo Booth - which was great), would highly recommend this. They offered to make a custom neon sign, we asked for the RGB version and it was amazing. (Can’t wait to hang this at home!) They also added little extras in that we didn’t even think about, like flares for photos, uplighting for our evening venue. Our guests thought they were brilliant!
The package we bought was great value for money, and we can’t wait to see our wedding photos 😁
