Ceilidh Tree did such an amazing job at a big birthday celebration we booked them for our wedding. Lou, our caller and the band were fantastic. The music and dancing was a huge highlight of the day and we and our guests loved it. We had lots of messages from our guests saying how much they enjoyed the Ceilidh and the disco and a lot of people saying it was the best wedding they've ever been to with genuine enthusiasm. Ceilidh Tree and Lou played a big part in that. Very highly recommended. -

We had the most fun ever with Ceilidh Tree on our wedding day - all of our guests said how much fun they had and how it was their highlight of the day. The music was amazing, played by very talented musicians, and our caller made it very easy to follow the steps. It did get very warm in the room - it is very energetic! We loved it and would definitely recommend them to other couples. The correspondence before the event was organised and friendly throughout. -

We were recommended Ceilidh Tree by a friend for our wedding, and they really didn't disappoint. Ceilidhs are such a great generational ice-breaker for dancing, and Ceilidh Tree had the most fantastic caller and music to help us all along. Such energy they brought out from everyone. We've had lovely feedback from our guests, many of whom had never experienced anything like it before (hooray, more friends to go dancing with in the future!). If only we'd had more hours in the day to keep going! Thank you folks -

We first discovered The Ceilidh Tree at a friend’s wedding. My now-husband had been disappointed that the evening was 'just a ceilidh' - but by the end of the night, he was urging me to dance to every single song. That’s the magic of The Ceilidh Tree. Choosing them for our own wedding was an absolute no-brainer.
We went for the ceilidh/disco combo, confident they would deliver an unforgettable evening of dancing - and we had one extra request: we wanted to sprinkle in bouts of karaoke during the disco. The team graciously embraced the idea, and it was an absolute hit. Our theatre-loving friends had a blast singing and dancing, and the energy and complexity of the music were perfectly pitched so everyone could join in.
From start to finish, The Ceilidh Tree created a night full of laughter, music, and dancing that our guests are still talking about. We couldn’t recommend them more highly. -

We hired ceilidh tree as our wedding band after extensive research, and we’re so glad they did!
They led an excellent ceilidh with dances and calling to accommodate mixed abilities. We had all the dances we requested and more, and the caller struck a great balance of explaining the steps without dragging it out.
They were very accommodating, and were even happy for one of our experienced fiddle playing guests to join them for a few tunes!
The disco was great, and the vibe was very much based off what requests we had had submitted!
They really kept a lot of guests on the dance floor, and everyone had an amazing time!

Having a ceilidh was one of the main things we knew we wanted at our wedding, and ceilidh tree brought this to life, and made it so much fun. Our first dance (the Virginia Reel) with our bridesmaids and groomsmen was such a special memory. The music was all brilliant.
Some of the dances felt like they were pitched a bit too difficult and could have benefitted with more explanation. But I acknowledge that alcohol consumption may have had more than a little to do with our guests struggling to follow the instructions, and the chaos it caused was very fun! Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the ceilidh :)
We also enjoyed the DJ session, and really valued the fact that ceilidh tree provided the DJ too, rather than us having to go to multiple suppliers. The DJ played pretty much all of our requests (and other songs that got our guests going), and stuck well to the venue's timings, so all went smoothly.

From the very start, the band’s communication was fantastic. They took the time to understand the kind of ceilidh we wanted, the experience level of our guests, and any special requests we had. Their attention to detail really put us at ease.
On the day, they were incredibly professional—setting up so smoothly we barely noticed it happening! We didn’t have to worry about a thing, and they kept everything running seamlessly.
The ceilidh itself was absolutely brilliant. Everyone had an amazing time, whether they were seasoned dancers or complete beginners. The energy was infectious, and the final Auld Lang Syne was a real highlight—such a special moment and a memory we’ll always treasure.
If you're looking for a ceilidh band that’s both professional and full of fun, we couldn’t recommend them more! -

All our guests could not stop remarking how much enjoyment they had at our wedding with Ceilidh Tree, they remarked it was the favourite bit of the day and enjoyed the dancing and lively band. Chris has great DJ skills too!

Lou and the band were full of enthusiasm and got everyone up and dancing, even the grumps. Lou also ran a great disco after the ceilidh, even bringing out a limbo pole half way through. They were flexible and professional so would recommend.
