We found Boujee Music through Hitched and saw them live at the National Wedding Show in October 2023. As soon as we heard them, we knew we had to book them for our wedding and they absolutely delivered.
We went with the Uptown Showdown band and they were incredible. From the first song to the last, the dance floor was full. They had all our guests up dancing, singing, and having the best time. Their energy was amazing and they interacted with everyone in such a fun, natural way.
We had so many people come up to us after the wedding saying how brilliant the band was. Friends and family were still talking about them weeks later. They really were one of the highlights of the day and made the evening feel like a proper celebration.
If you’re looking for a band that knows how to get the party going and keep it going, book them. You won’t regret it. -

If you want people to remember the music at your wedding, pick boujee. We heard them at another wedding and knew they were the one. I love a packed dancefloor and this really made it happen!
My only criticism was being hard to always get email replies. They have a good system for submitting information but I found it hard to reach them at times. I do feel this is a lot of bands though and it wouldn't stop me from using them again. -

It was hard to top such a perfect day, but oh my god Uptown Showdown SMASHED IT! Such an incredible night, all of the band were wonderful and looked to have fun, we certainly did and it was the best way to finish. -

Uptown Showdown / Boujee Music were absolutely fantastic. We originally saw them in London before our wedding and we immediately knew we had to book them.
The list of songs to choose from for our big day was huge and a great selection and they really got the crowd going on the day. All of the wedding guests have been raving about how good the band were and lots have said it’s the best wedding band they’ve seen! We couldn’t agree more - they were absolutely perfect and got everyone on the dance floor which was exactly what we wanted. -

The band was amazing and kept everybody on the dance floor all night, the only downside was when they finished! It was so easy to arrange set up timings, send them our playlist and the songs they chose from their repertoire were just right! The band followed all our special instructions to a tee and I would highly recommend UpTown ShowDown for your wedding! And the best thing, when you book them they send you out free tickets to see them perform before your wedding!Boujee Music's reply:

Wow. I’m not sure where to begin, but Boujee Music has been incredible from the moment we made an enquiry. Tim was so helpful - we had a call with him early on which resulted in him creating a bespoke package to suit us. The communication was always there, Boujee Music took our preferences into account and even worked with my husband’s best man to help them put a surprise performance together! The musicians themselves were out of this world. We could not have asked for better - the energy was infectious, they interacted with our guests and the dance floor was never empty. Thank you so, so much for an outstanding performance that our guests are still talking about. If you’re looking for a band to get your guests dancing and keep the party going - you’ve just found them. -
