We had the pleasure of welcoming Heatwave, one of Anthem's amazing bands, to our wedding this month, and boy are we glad we did! We chose their 6-piece line up, and they had the dance floor rocking all night! The musicians are top-notch, their play list was fantastic, full of crowd pleasing favourites, and everyone has been talking non-stop about how brilliant the band was. Their advance A/V package meant that some of the musicians were able to come on to the floor and party with us which made the party so much more fun! They know just how to get the floor full and keep it that way, and their music was just fantastic. We are overjoyed with our choice and thoroughly recommend Heatwave for your event!Anthem Function Band's reply:

Hands down the best function band I've ever had the joy to experience. A guaranteed good time for any wedding/event. Exciting, modern funk arrangements, charismatic band members, and a truly incredible vocalist (with a killer range!?) - got *everyone* flocking to the dance floor, from my best pals (25-30s) and 16yr old cousins to aunties and 82 year old grandparents! As someone who's worked on this scene myself, this was the most important element of my wedding day, and they were SO reasonably priced for what we got: Just the right level of interactive - hyping up the crowd, complete with a fun 'dance off' at the end of the night. The musicians come into the audience to do brilliant solos, and it makes the whole thing feel way more than just a music set. It's a unique, entertaining section of the evening that engages everyone. Adam (the person I communicated with in the lead up to the day itself) was very responsive, professional, clear, and enthusiastic - sent all the info we could have needed. We got the package with extra lighting, which made the set up look STUNNING and super pro. Their set list is like, three pages long (option wise) with brilliantly varied songs - funk and pop skewing - and they play your first dance live, segueing straight into party time and inviting your guests onto the dance floor, which makes for a really slick evening. They also get you to send them a playlist, and dj in-between their sets, meaning that you're never having to worry about the music (which, as a bride, meant I could focus on my guests and actually enjoying that portion of the evening). I really really can't recommend these guys enough. -

The band played at our wedding and they were fantastic. They really energised the crowd and everyone flocked to the dancefloor as soon as they played. they played 3 sets which were all great and even started a dance off which was hilarious. their song list was full of great songs so we didnt request anything specific but they really knocked it out of the park and played banger after banger.
we had great communication from them all in the lead up to the wedding and they really listened to what we wanted. they were really flexible and really professional. couldnt recommend them enough.Anthem Function Band's reply:
