We had the pleasure of welcoming Heatwave, one of Anthem's amazing bands, to our wedding this month, and boy are we glad we did! We chose their 6-piece line up, and they had the dance floor rocking all night! The musicians are top-notch, their play list was fantastic, full of crowd pleasing favourites, and everyone has been talking non-stop about how brilliant the band was. Their advance A/V package meant that some of the musicians were able to come on to the floor and party with us which made the party so much more fun! They know just how to get the floor full and keep it that way, and their music was just fantastic. We are overjoyed with our choice and thoroughly recommend Heatwave for your event!Anthem Function Band's reply:

It’s safe to say that ANTHEM were the talk of our wedding following their incredible performance at our wedding, with many commenting that they’d never experienced a band like them before. Despite the range of ages and dancing abilities amongst our guests, ANTHEM’s unique approach to getting people involved meant that no one was sat down and everyone couldn’t help but dance the night away.
From the very start, ANTHEM were fantastic at easing our concerns and answering any questions, and their calm nature made us feel confident we’d made the right choice for the day. Each member of the band is exceptional, with the standout being the singers, who were unbelievable across a selection of dance-floor hits.
We’ll never forget ANTHEM’s party-piece dance off, which filled the dance floor with memories that will last a lifetime.
We would highly recommend the band for any wedding! -

Top, top class!! We had such an amazing day celebrating our wedding with Anthem, both the acoustic set for our reception drinks and the band in the evening were phenomenal. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. The Chic medley was the highlight (and the bowtie limbo!). Thank you for everything! -

Such a great band to end our special day!
We booked with Anthem over a year before our wedding at Ashridge House for June 2025, and they were very accommodating and responsive to all our queries before booking the 1st deposit with them.
The organisers were very flexible and explained what aspects of the booking (band member numbers, lighting enhancements, etc.) can be finalised nearer the time which we greatly appreciated.
For our evening entertainment, we went with 5 band members and standing DJ in between band’s breaks. We confirmed final details with the band and DJ around a month before, and my caller was very knowledgeable and happy to provide expert recommendations if needs be.
It was such a lovely evening and all the guests that stayed thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It was a wonderful day and the perfect evening for our wedding. Would highly recommend Anthem! -

Hands down the best function band I've ever had the joy to experience. A guaranteed good time for any wedding/event. Exciting, modern funk arrangements, charismatic band members, and a truly incredible vocalist (with a killer range!?) - got *everyone* flocking to the dance floor, from my best pals (25-30s) and 16yr old cousins to aunties and 82 year old grandparents! As someone who's worked on this scene myself, this was the most important element of my wedding day, and they were SO reasonably priced for what we got: Just the right level of interactive - hyping up the crowd, complete with a fun 'dance off' at the end of the night. The musicians come into the audience to do brilliant solos, and it makes the whole thing feel way more than just a music set. It's a unique, entertaining section of the evening that engages everyone. Adam (the person I communicated with in the lead up to the day itself) was very responsive, professional, clear, and enthusiastic - sent all the info we could have needed. We got the package with extra lighting, which made the set up look STUNNING and super pro. Their set list is like, three pages long (option wise) with brilliantly varied songs - funk and pop skewing - and they play your first dance live, segueing straight into party time and inviting your guests onto the dance floor, which makes for a really slick evening. They also get you to send them a playlist, and dj in-between their sets, meaning that you're never having to worry about the music (which, as a bride, meant I could focus on my guests and actually enjoying that portion of the evening). I really really can't recommend these guys enough.
