Matt is a professional singer and guitarist with over 20 years of experience as a live performer and session musician. As well as performing all around the United Kingdom, Matt has performed around Europe on the Greek Cyclades islands, exclusive ski resorts in Austria, luxury weddings in Italy, and further afield in Indonesia, Thailand and America.
Matt has worked extensively around the world on cruise ships such as the newest luxury flagships of the Princess Cruise line and toured the states as a session musician. Some of that experience was opening for huge acts in the US and Canada, such as David Gray, Jason Mraz, Christina Perri and The Fray, or performing for Stevie Nicks, YouTube, VH1, and appearing on The Tonight Show.
As an accomplished guitarist, he can use intimate finger style guitar playing along with soulful vocals to render heartfelt and emotional love songs, or for a different mood, combine guitar rhythms, lead guitar and beatboxing with vocal and guitar loops to create reimagined cover versions of your favourite songs that are full of energy and captivating to a live audience.

Hello!
I've been told that I need to write a bit about myself here, but I guess the problem is that the biggest thing in my life is playing music, so it can be difficult to talk about much else!
I guess I'm just a big fan of "art" and probably a little bit obsessive about my favourite stuff - be it my favourite films, my favourite books or my favourite music - I could go on about them at length. I also love cooking. I don't claim to be a great chef by any means but I love food and drink and use cooking to relax and wind down. Travel is important to me and there may even be parts of the year that I'm unavailable because I'm away, sometimes working abroad or on a cruise ship!
I've been playing music live for most of my life and I've come to find an added enjoyment for me is just doing a "good job" - and by that I mean, figuring out what you want and setting out the expectations for what you'll get from my performance. It's important to me that I'm good match for your event and that I'll arrive confident that I'm about to help create the atmosphere that we both have in mind. I love playing music but I love it even more when I know that I'm playing the right song in the right moment.
