Crannagh specialise in wedding music for both Religious and Civil Ceremonies. We are a modern and versatile quartet comprising of mainly of piano and violins. We do however work with a fabulous network of musicians to tailor each wedding to your individual needs, so can add whistle, guitar, cello, viola, and can also provide male or female vocals. Our vast repertoire includes pieces from classical, Irish, modern, film soundtrack and religious genres. How far in advance should I contact you?

We see enquiries coming in up to three years ahead, popular dates go very quickly, so if Crannagh is what you want, drop us a message as soon as you have your date. We would hate for you to miss out!

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

Yes, of course, we hope our extensive repertoire would have your chosen songs, but if not, we can learn one new piece per wedding. Each additional piece incurs a £25 fee to cover rehearsal time

Can you travel?

Yes, northern Ireland and surrounding counties, some parts of Donegal & Meath, Louth, Monaghan, Cavan. Approx 90 mins - 2 hours radius from Co Armagh

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, when contacting us for a quote, please confirm the location. We tailor each quote individually, and travel time will be included within the final price

What is the length of time of the act?

We arrive an hour before your ceremony begins to set up and sound check. We then play for your guests arriving and for the duration of the ceremony. We play a 90 minute set for pre-dinner drinks

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

Every wedding gets a full rehearsal. Due to the number of events we have, we ask that final songs be confirmed with us 6-8 weeks before your date. Changes to setlist cannot be guaranteed after this
