About

I’m Chris Rasdale, a professional musician based near Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland.

I’ve been performing at weddings, ceilidhs, parties and events for many years, and work with a small group of excellent musicians. Depending on the style of music you’re looking for, I can put together the right line-up for your day.

I play and manage a few different acts:

The Cavemen – upbeat wedding and function band, playing folk-influenced songs, popular covers and ceilidh dances. This is a great option if you want a lively evening with plenty of energy and variety.

Black Isle Ceilidh Band – a traditional ceilidh band with dance calling, perfect for getting everyone involved, whether they are experienced dancers or complete beginners.

Chris Rasdale Jazz Collective – a relaxed and stylish jazz line-up, playing gypsy jazz and classic jazz standards, ideal for drinks receptions, ceremonies or background music during quieter parts of the day.

I’m always happy to chat through the kind of atmosphere you’d like to create and help you choose the music that will suit your wedding or event best.
