Carl Bradford is a classically trained violinist based in Bexhill On Sea, East Sussex. A formally trained and prize-winning soloist, Carl can perform covers of your favourite songs right up to the present day in addition to classical pieces, jazz tunes, and folk. With a vast repertoire, he also enjoys learning new songs, helping to create a personal and memorable day.

Services Offered

Carl performs on an acoustic violin and is accompanied by professional backing tracks in addition to his classical solo repertoire. He has all the necessary equipment needed for your wedding or special event and is happy to take specific song requests in advance. On the day, he can perform as guests arrive before accompanying every key stage of the ceremony, including walking down the aisle, signing the register, and your exit as newlyweds. You can also enlist his musical talents during the drinks reception or wedding meal.

Extensive experience performing on cruise ships in a variety of musical styles and formats, touring circus in the UK, orchestral and chamber music groups

Yes, 35p per mile approx. This can be negotiated

Each let lasts approx 45 mins. Drinks reception can be either 1 x 60 min set or 2 x 45 min sets. Ceremony around 45 mins This can be negotiated to suit your wedding

Barn wedding : welcome drinks

Carl played for us during welcome drinks at our son’s recent wedding .
He was both smart and professional . He researched what our choice of music would be prior to the event and played the ‘Bridgerton type’ music that the bride likes . His being at the venue was a complete surprise for her and he kept the secret very well .
We wouldn’t hesitate to use his services again and would recommend his playing .

Set the scene beautifully

Carl was fantastic! He played absolutely beautifully and set the scene so perfectly. My (now) husband said it was Carl playing that set him off crying before the bridal party even entered! Carl learned a new song for me and was so professional and responsive. Can’t recommend enough!

More than 5 stars!!

Carl was absolutely incredible at our wedding. Our only regret is that, as bride and groom, we were whisked away for photos and didn’t get to fully enjoy his music ourselves! Thankfully, our guests more than made up for it—they haven’t stopped talking about how beautiful and atmospheric his playing was. He set the perfect tone for the day and added something really special to the celebration.
We’re already planning to have him play for our one-year anniversary so we can sit back, listen, and soak it all in properly. Highly recommend!

A huge thank you!

Exceptional Violinist

Having Carl play at our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. From the very first note, their music added something truly special — it created an atmosphere that was both intimate and unforgettable.

We’d spoken with Carl beforehand about the kind of vibe we wanted, and they were so easy to work with. They listened, offered great suggestions, and helped us pick the perfect mix of songs.

On the day, Carl was calm, professional, and just lovely to have around. They played so beautifully that several of our guests came up to us afterwards just to say how moved they were by the music.

If you’re thinking about live music for your wedding, we can’t recommend Carl enough. Their talent, warmth, and care really helped make our day feel special.

Romantic vibes 🩷

Carl played the violin beautifully during cocktail hour at my sister’s wedding in Brighton. He created an ambience that was talked about very positively among guests. He was very responsive and accommodating as I provided a set list I wished for him to play. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends and family.

Perfect for my Wedding

Carl was such a wonderful surprise for all of our guests. The range of music he plays will suit everyone’s tastes in fact I booked him due to the very Bridgeton styled music ie Coldplay and many others, his music list is massive.
Carl is very easy going very professional I would not hesitate in recommending him to others. He is going to play at my Goddaughters wedding next year. I get to hear his music once again. Fabulous!

A beautiful accompaniment to our wedding ceremony

Carl was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, listening to what we would like and offering recommendations. The music was beautiful and complimented our wedding ceremony perfectly.

Carl played a mixture of classical and modern, and also learnt one of our favourite songs, which really made it feel personal. I would highly recommend Carl, thank you for helping making our wedding day so special.

Carl is a very talented musician and provided us with a very large repertoire, plenty of communication before the date which put us at total ease. Great service

Carl was great, you don’t want to have to do too much with a supplier, but Carl turned up to the venue was set up and playing by the time we came out of our ceremony. He also reached out to talk about the type of music we wanted and his split set list was helpful.

Thank you so much for a perfect ceremony

Carl made our ceremony perfect. I had asked for a particular song for our entrance song and it was better than I could have imagined. My guests all commented on how amazing he was and how lovely it was for them entering our wedding. Thank you for making it so perfect for us.

Excellent from booking to performance

I booked Carl Bradford to perform at my daughter's wedding reception. He was very quick to respond to my questions, he went the extra mile to arrange the songs we chose and performed them beautifully. He went through our arrangements with me in order to devise the best times, as I had not booked a musician before, this was immensely helpful and much appreciated. Guests were all complimentary and said how wonderfully he performed the much loved pieces we selected. I cannot recommend him highly enough. His professionalism made everything easy to organise, he worked with us to ensure the dances were well-timed and went smoothly with our arrangements and his performance was fantastic, we could not have wished for more.
