What is included in the wedding package?

Ceremony-Classical welcome music, entrance music for VIPs, Exit song for the couple. Dinner-Background music allowing for conversation in the room Reception- DJ and MC to get your guests dancing

How far in advance should I contact you?

12-18 Months is the ideal timeframe. A booking within the next 12 months is possible but dates are usually limited

What's your experience?

DJing for nearly 10 years. We have experience with various weddings, from small intimate weddings with 40 people to large luxury weddings of 400 people

Do you have your own equipment?

Yes

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Can you travel?

Yes, based in Northamptonshire but we have toured the UK from Cornwall all the way to Inverness

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, distances 3hr+ Drive - £50

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Yes

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

What is the length of time of the act?

We can DJ sets of 4 hours for just reception to all day. From ceremonies to the final dance can be from 09:00-01:00

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

We like to have a crate of requests prepped 2 weeks in advance to allow us to get to know your requests

Per event

Usually an extra £100 for every hour extra

Amazing DJ

Thank you so much Luke and the team for the awesome DJ’ing at our wedding. He listened to all requests, had great communication and the lighting he provided as an extra was worth every penny.

Excellent DJ

Luke was with us from start to finish and was excellent. The ceremony went perfectly and everyone said they could hear everything really clearly.

Luke's DJing during our meal was great and perfect background music.

Our reception was fun and everyone danced all night.

The perfect mix

The DJ was great, providing a great mix of music everyone could get involved with. The DJ also took requests and was able to seamlessly transition into the next song. Additionally the photo booth was great fun.

Outstanding!

A* Entertainments absolutely made Nathan and Faye wedding unforgettable! The DJ service was outstanding, with music choices that kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. The photo booth was a massive hit, adding such a fun and interactive element to the celebration. It was professional, energetic, and knew exactly how to read the crowd. Highly recommend Luke at A* Entertainments for any event!

Excellent DJ

Luke’s Pre ceremony communication was clear and he was very responsive. He also spent time to get to know us in a pre ceremony consultation. As a result Luke kept the vibe going during the evening and was able to intertwine our own choices with other songs to mean it was very hard to leave the dance floor!
The atmosphere was made complete with the personalised monogram which set the scene. We had a brilliant night with our friends and family in no small part to Luke’s influence. Thank you Luke - Anisha & Tim

Special day

Luke created the perfect atmosphere for our special day. Fantastic and responsive through planning.

After we all got a bit merry, he read the room perfectly and played the best music to see us through to the early morning.

What can i say? Absolutely faultless from Luke. Kept us in the loop with music and timings of things to be completed by, polite and punctual. And above all else, he made our wedding night special and unique! Very personal and exactly how we would have wanted our evening to be! 100% would recommend! Amazing!! It has been a joy to have Luke Dj for our wedding. He is responsive and always answered our questions quickly and also proactively engaged with our venue for all their requirements.

On the day we were behind schedule due to the rain and Luke handled it all in his stride and set up quickly to get the party going. All our wedding guests were up, dancing and enjoying the Dj-ing all night long.

Amazing DJ, thankyou!

We booked A* for our wedding all day. They did all the ceremony music and microphones as well as all the meal background music and the party until midnight. Our photographer even mentioned how helpful Luke was and complemented him.
