The Nomadic Temples, as featured in the London Design Festival & Architectural Journal, are one-of-a-kind crafted artworks, towers of colour and light. The bamboo is skillfully hand-lashed with each new build, binding in a crafted energy. This highly sustainable material is used throughout the design to reduce its impact on the environment.

During the day, its semi-transparent facets catch the sun to form an illuminated, towering vault within the centre. At night, it becomes a beacon of tessellating, geometric light that creates a fantastic focus point for the landscape. We have three tents 25m in diameter that provide 500m2 of fully waterproof area. It is suitable for up to 150 guests seated at long tables with a stage and dance floor; they come in three atmospheric colour themes.

Based in Rye, East Sussex. Nomadic Temples is a seasoned marquee hire for weddings and special occasions.

A wedding like no other

I had the nomadic temple as my reception venue and it created the most exquisite atmosphere for our festival style wedding. We had 110 sit down guests for our wedding lunch which were very comfortably seated in one half of the nomadic temple, we held our speeches underneath the central mandala tower and then later on when evening guests arrived (another 80) filled the other half of the tent with ceilidh dancing and DJ/live band sets til the early hours of next morning. It created the perfect atmosphere for both the formalities, and the festivities of the day.

Festival Wedding for 200

Our daughter and her partner were getting married in an off grid service, they wanted a unique structure for their guests to sit and feast under that allowed the beauty of the surrounding landscape to still be viewed. With a stage and room to dance the night away! Nomadic temples provided us with such an amazing structure that was the talking point of the celebrations. Plenty of room to dine under and the ceilhidh dancing could weave in and out of the sweeping canopies.

Nomadic Temples were just perfect for our daughters Festival Style Wedding, if you want something a bit different from the norm, then these really fulfilled our brief.
