Femme Petale / Gemma was incredible from start to finish. She was so professional, calm, collaborative, and genuinely cared about bringing our vision to life in a way that still felt personal to us. Communication throughout the process was seamless and we felt completely looked after. Clear emails, simple payment and invoicing. It make it so easy to look after and such a simple process.
The florals exceeded every expectation. The arrangements felt artistic, romantic, and full of movement and texture, while still feeling elegant and intentional. She is and artist so we left a lot of the decisions to her, told her a few things we liked “wilder the better” and lots of colour. She also incorporated deeply meaningful details for us, including red poppies and thistles to honour loved ones who had passed, which made everything feel even more special. I know how much of a challenge it was to source such fragile florals, but she jumped at the challenge. We are forever grateful.
In terms of value, we truly felt the quality, creativity, and execution justified the cost. The flowers completely transformed the atmosphere of the wedding and were one of the most talked about elements of the entire day, besides the stunning venue. People were swooning over the florals. We could not recommend Gemma more. -

Gemma was a dream to work with and gave us perfect flowers for our wedding.
I can’t remember how I came across Femme Petale but I just instantly clicked with the vibe and style and knew this was the florist for me and didn’t even entertain anyone else. Gemma was great in the planning process, made it all super easy and knew how to get what we knew we wanted out of us even when we didn’t. When I saw the flower displays and bouquets on the wedding morning, they were both exactly what I wanted and beyond what I could have expected. Perfect. A beautiful mix of different flower types, colours, shapes, and sizes all working brilliantly together, and they smelled amazing, I didn’t expect them to be so fragrant as well as beautiful. I also loved the touch of Gemma bunching up surviving stems from the displays the morning after, leaving me with 4 extra bouquets I could gift to our parents and guests. Thank you! -

We were absolutely blown away by the flowers for our wedding -they were nothing short of breathtaking! The beautiful springtime florals were perfectly arranged and brought such vibrant life and colour to both the church and the venue. Every detail was stunning, and the arrangements truly created a magical and unforgettable atmosphere. We received countless compliments from our guests, and it made our special day even more extraordinary.
Gemma was an absolute delight to work with from start to finish. She was so warm, approachable, and attentive throughout the entire planning process. It was wonderful to have such a friendly face guiding us, making everything feel effortless and enjoyable. I was initially drawn in by her stunning website, and seeing her incredible work in person exceeded all my expectations - she brought our vision beautifully to life.

Gemma was delightful to work with. She met us on at the venue to do a full walk through and was responsive and understanding of our vision. We had several spaces to work with and even some last minute designs that we wouldn't know how to decorate until we sourced other items. Through it all, Gemma was flexible and creative. Her love for her work shown throuhgh on the day. She'd sourced the most beautiful branches (for a sort of wabi sabi / ikebana aesthetic) which went above and beyond the scope of standard flowers and bouquets. We loved the ultimate designs and her keen eye for dressing up the space, on our budget no less! -

We chose Femme Petale because of the modern style of her flowers, and I saw a picture on her Instagram of the exact look I was going for - toffee roses, dusty pinks and creams. Gemma did not disappoint on the day. Her designs were gorgeous and exactly what we envisioned. Last minute, we also ordered some meadows to be placed around the bottom of the harp for the ceremony and Gemma completely understood what we were trying to achieve with the look. She also gave me some great advice when I was flapping in the week leading up to the wedding. Her portfolio of ideas that she sent over at the beginning of the process really helped me to crystallise in my mind the colour palette for the wedding. All in all a great wedding supplier. I would recommend. -

We had a bit of a weird brief... purple & green were our wedding colours but we also wanted birds of paradise. Gemma helped us shape what became the entire tropical theme of the wedding. It made perfect sense as we were getting married in an Orangery. Rather than a flower arch, we had a stunning palm cloud as the backdrop to our ceremony & every bouquet, button hole and centrepiece was more beautiful than I could have imagined. -

We opted for slightly untraditional decoration for our wedding and had several large flower bouquets, flower crowns, flower wands, bud vases and garlands along with buttonholes and corsages. They were all stunning and fitted our decorations really well. As someone who has allergies to certain flowers, Gemma at Femme Petale was great in making sure the flowers on my crown didn't set me off sneezing down the aisle! The whole process was great from start to finish and Gemma was super flexible and helpful even when we weren't sure exactly what we needed. The flowers lasted really well and have dried lovely so we can keep them as memento of the day. -

Gemma recently created our stunning wedding flowers and we were absolutely over the moon with what a fantastic job she did!
We were first drawn to Gemma’s unique and bright style, we loved her creations using wild and vibrant blooms, and really felt her style stood out from other florists. We’d been in touch with a couple of florists, but Gemma’s enthusiasm and creativity drew us to her straight away.
Working with Gemma was an absolute pleasure from start to finish - right from the very first consultation she seemed to get us and our vision, and have fantastic insight and ideas as well. The proposal Gemma put together was so professional and gave us an excellent insight into her creative process and what our flowers could look like. Gemma was really accommodating with any and all changes we suggested, and even took delivery of a special bouquet ribbon and sorted everything out for the bridal party bouquets.
We were absolutely blown away with the flowers on the day - they looked stunning and guests commented all day long about how beautiful they were. We had bud vases on the tables which were such an effective way to bring flowers into all elements of the day, as well as stunning altar flowers - we truly loved them!
We couldn’t recommend working with Gemma more, she is such a pleasure to work with and her creativity and artistry with florals is truly breathtaking. If you’re looking at enquiring with Femme Petale - just do it! You won’t regret it. -

Working with Gemma was a pleasure! She was always professional and replied to all my messages. I pretty much completely changed what I wanted in regards to flower colours from the initial meeting to the final meeting before the wedding and this was no problem for Gemma! She listened to all of my ideas and what I wanted and, wow, were the flowers stunning on the day! The colours were fantastic and exactly what I wanted; I had so many people tell me how much they loved the flowers and it really made the venue look amazing! She did not have an easy job given I had 9 bridesmaids but all the bouquets were so lovely! Would recommend her to anyone! -

The first thing I want to say is that I can't recommend Gemma highly enough. If you get the chance - book her! Having Gemma on our team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
She listened so carefully to what we wanted (even after we changed our minds a few times!) and she got it completely right. We first decided to go to Gemma because of the way her packages are laid out on her website - they're really clear and informative (unlike other suppliers websites who we felt were aimed towards experienced wedding planners, rather than couples with no experience in booking a florist for an event). Then, after chatting with her, it was clear she was going to be perfect for us - she's so incredibly lovely, supportive and enthusiastic, but also knows exactly how to calm an anxious engaged couple at one of the most stressful time of their lives!
Seeing my wedding bouquet for the first time brought me to tears and that was only a taste of what was to come on the big day. Every single element of the flowers were perfect - from the beautiful petals down the aisle, to the arrangements on the tables. Gemma made our day look and feel so chic and magical and we're so, so grateful to her for sharing her amazing talent with us on our special day.
