Bridal bouquet & bridesmaids bouquets
We initially met online to discuss things that we'd like to incorporate in the flowers, which she followed up with a mood board of colour scheme and the types of flowers we'd agreed on.
We ordered the bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, buttonholes and corsages. The corsages were magnetic, which was great to help avoid damage to outfits.
Although we were getting married in August, we received a New Year's email along the lines of "this year is the year that you get married" which I thought was a nice touch.
We had another meeting to discuss timeline in a bit more detail and agree the time of arrival for day etc.
We really wanted a Yorkshire rose incorporated into the bouquet (as the groom is a big sexy Yorkshireman). Hollie did all she could to source them (we're in South Wales), but unfortunately wasn't able to. She did however, manage to get something similar and thin out the petals a bit to get a close match. Which was really appreciated.
A day or two before the wedding, Hollie sent a video of our flowers so that we could see the colour pallet before the arrangements were made. We're not a stress couple, but perhaps if you are then this is a great opportunity to make last minute changes if you need to. I certainly appreciated it, plus it helped build a bit more excitement. The day before I was asked if I wanted a sneaky peak of my bouquet. Obviously I did!
Flowers were delivered on time to the venue and they were absolutely stunning.
Hollie was fabulous and we can't recommend her enough.

I was lucky enough to grow up in this industry, I spent summer holidays taking trips to Holland to visit bulb growers and going to the flower markets with my dad. I learnt the base of my flower knowledge from his florist shop,
I'm absolutely loving being a florist in my own right now! I so enjoy taking peoples visions for their weddings (their Pinterest pics) and creating them in my style. The best part of being a florist is constantly having a changing, creative brief, with no two client briefs being the same.
