Flowers were one of the most important priorities for us on our wedding day and Dorothy Seed Florists went above and beyond, bringing our vision to life and made our whole day look and feel like the magical whimsical wonderland we had dreamt of.
I came across Dorothy Seed Florists when researching florists nearby our venue and their sustainable and eco friendly approach really resonated with us.
The moment we first spoke with Dorina, we felt a real sense of warmth, kindness and passion for everything that she does through her work but also as a person and it felt like we had known her for years. Her knowledge is out of this world and we whole heartedly trusted her from the get go with her flower and foliage choices and her vision to help really make the use of our venue space for both the ceremony and wedding breakfast.
Nothing was too much and she took the time to sit and talk through our ideas through a number of zoom calls as well as meet us at our venue to bring our ideas to life.
Dorina was also able to provide the most gorgeous candle holders, bud vases and bowls which were beautifully displayed throughout the day. Knowing she was in charge of placing everything together for us put us at ease and was such a weight lifted off our shoulders. She styled everything so perfectly and just how we visioned.
Unfortunately, no amount of words will do her and the team justice. They are the most amazing people and a dream to work with and we couldn’t have asked or wished for anyone else to be such a part of our big day.
We see Dorina as a dear friend now, and she will always have a special place in our hearts.

Choosing Dorothy Seed was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
When we first spoke with Dorina, we straight away got the vibe that she was going to be the perfect fit for us, she is fun, kind, and really listens to what you as a couple want. She took the time to get to know us, and to understand what it was we were looking for (even if we didn't really know ourselves!). We felt super supported throughout the whole process - I was able to send over photos as and when I found them, and even though I changed my mind several times, Dorina was always able to capture exactly what I liked through the mood boards.
One of the best moments for me on the wedding day was receiving my bouquet, and then walking down the beautifully decorated aisle and seeing the truly unbelievable floral meadow that Dorina had created. From all the mood boards, photos, videos that I'd seen, hers completely surpassed them all and genuinely took my breath away, I was so so happy!
So not only is Dorina an incredibly talented designer and florist, she is a truly fabulous person who will take the time to get to know you, understand you and make your wedding a unique and gorgeous occasion that reflects who you are as a couple. Wow, wow, wow! The most perfect flowers for our wedding. From the moment we met Dorina, we knew she was the florist for us! She listened to our ideas and created the most amazing colour palette and styling. Most of our decor was based around our flowers which made the rest of the decoration easy and everyone commented on how amazing the flowers were! All the arrangements that were used for the aisle were reused for our reception tables and in the morning Dorina made bouquets out of all the flowers to give to guests! Nothing went to waste and our guests were amazed with their gifts. I could not recommend Dorina enough!

Before, during AND after our wedding we genuinely felt like we were being held in mind by Dorina and that our day was a priority to her - something I am sure she manages to make all of her many couples feel which is a huge credit to her. For the arrangements themselves, we wanted our florist to help us find ways to be as sustainable as we could, and Dorina was committed to this even though I believe that it meant we spent less as we wanted to re-use flowers from welcome sign - ceremony - to tables, she did not make us feel uncomfortable at all about this - instead she seemed excited to help us, and in fact she stayed to set the initial arrangements up and then move them during the day. Dorina completely went above our expectations.
Dorina was also really responsive in the lead up to the wedding, and transparent with costs, and she managed to find ways to help us work to the budget we had.

Dorothy Seed truly made our big day unforgettable! On our big day, Dorina and her team used their magic to make a magical and dreamy wedding floral setting for us: vibrant colour with a touch of elegance. Throughout the first meeting to post-wedding, Dorina made her every effort to make our dream wedding comes true: having a stunning broken arch with floral arrangements for our ceremony, wedding breakfast, wedding cake and ball room setting. Dorina designed a sustainable plan for all the floral arrangements - so they were repurposed and transformed the space into a romantic and visually stunning environment. Of course, the bride's bouquet was AMAZING! It enhanced and completed my wedding attire. The floral arrangements made our day being gorgeous. After the wedding, Dorina and her team helped wrapping the flowers into different bunches so we could share with our families and friends - this really completed our wedding weekend at the wedding venue. We have received a LOT of compliments about the flowers (e.g. the 'multi' use of flowers, buttonholes/corsages for our families, and the little posy for the flower girl) and the bride's bouquet. WOW wow wow! We worked with Dorina from Dorothy Seeds for our wedding in Breacon, June 2025 and she was one of the best suppliers we worked with. From initial communication, planning our overall look and feel, to the final run up to the wedding and the day itself - Dorina's whole process exceeded our expectations. We got married last month and chose Dorina as our florist after we saw her beautiful work at our best friends' wedding. Where do we even begin? Choosing Dorina at Dorothy Seed to do our wedding flowers was hands-down one of the best decisions we made.

From the very first video call, Dorina was a total breath of fresh air—warm, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. She instantly put us at ease and genuinely took the time to understand our vision: what we loved, what we didn’t, the overall style we were going for, and even what flowers and foliage would be in season. Her attention to detail was second to none.

Dorina created a WhatsApp group to keep us in the loop throughout the whole process, and she put together the most beautiful mood board that helped bring our ideas to life. She even met us at the venue well in advance to walk through everything with us—bringing along vases to explore styling options and sketching out the layout on her tablet to show us where everything would look best. Her familiarity with the venue and her great relationship with the staff instantly put our minds at ease—we knew we were in the best hands.

And then came the wedding day. Dorina was up bright and early, setting everything up with such care. She even helped me and the groomsmen with our buttonholes (we were absolutely useless), and then went up to present my wife and her bridesmaids with their bouquets—which were absolutely stunning. Every single arrangement was breathtaking, and the small details—like bringing vases for the bouquets to be displayed and taken home the next day—were such a thoughtful touch.

The venue looked nothing short of magical, and it was all thanks to Dorina’s incredible talent and vision. She has such a gift—not just for flowers, but for making people feel looked after and understood.

Dorina at Dorothy Seed Florist has been sensational to plan our wedding flowers with. We fell in love with her infectious passion for natural looking arrangements using a mix of dried and fresh foliage and flowers.

All I requested of Dorina was to have eucalyptus as this was the main theme of our wedding with the odd sprig of pampas, and I knew we could trust her with the rest.
