We are so grateful to Fran for making our first dance absolutely unforgettable! From the very first lesson, she made us feel completely at ease—even when we were laughing at our own silly dance moves. Fran's patience, encouragement, and clear teaching style turned something we were nervous about into one of the most fun parts of our wedding prep.
By the time the big day came, we felt confident, relaxed, and actually excited to show off our dance—and our guests were genuinely in awe! We’ve had so many compliments on it, and it’s all thanks to Fran.
If you're thinking of doing a first dance (even if you have two left feet), we can't recommend The Next Step Co. enough. This team is truly amazing!The Next Step Co.'s reply:

Couldn't be happier in working with the Next Step Co for our big day. Catherine and Yvette were incredible and made us feel right at ease. Despite both being nervous, we ended up having a right laugh and so much fun. They tailored moves to our basic skill set and helped us out massively. The dance went incredibly well on the day and we would recommend them to anyone! -

My husband and I are very bad dancers, but wanted to do something fun for the first dance to get the party started, so opted for whenever, wherever by Shakira. Yvette was amazing - she came to our house and danced us around our tiny living room (my husband is 6”6, so no easy feat!)
We had 3 lessons, all starting late in the evening to fit around work schedules, and ended up with a dance that all of our guests have messaged us about otherwise to say “I can’t believe you guys managed to do that??!” - her teaching style was clear, patient and fun. This was such a special part of our wedding prep and we’re very grateful to Yvette for her work.
Thank you so much Yvette - we loved it! Would recommend her services to anyone :)

Danielle is an incredible wedding dance instructor! She listened to our goals, embraced our unconventional music choice, and crafted a show-stopping routine that we nailed in just three lessons. Her professionalism, punctuality, and lighthearted approach made the in-home lessons enjoyable and stress-free. We went from having no dance experience to feeling confident and ready to shine on our big day. Highly recommend! -

Our teacher Danielle was fantastic! Despite our limited time and dance experience, she quickly assessed our comfort level and created a beautiful choreography that was easy to learn and practice. She was super nice and made our lessons enjoyable. Thanks to her, our dance was a hit at the wedding, we received so many compliments from our friends and family. A special shoutout to Yvette for her help in scheduling our lessons so efficiently. Highly recommend The Next Step to anyone looking for a wedding dance teacher! -

Yvette is amazing, I can't recommend her enough. We still practice our wedding dance 1 year on! She really tailored the dance to us, and it was a really fun part of the preparations amongst the stress of planning a wedding. She's absolutely lovely and if you're on the fence you should definitely go for it! -

Amazing way to learn your first dance!
Fran and Yvette were amazing. This was exactly what we were looking for - the ability to learn and practice a dance in the comfort of our own home. The dance was perfect to our needs, easy for my partner to learn who’s never had any dance training before, and we had so many compliments. Couldn’t recommend highly enough! -
