What a fantastic experience!
As two novices we were very nervous about having a first dance and wanted it over with in 30 seconds. Yvette changed all of that, she took us step by step over four lessons and completely transformed a very bland dance into one that our guests loved. Yvette was kind, extremely patient and very flexible to our suggestions and worked tirelessly with us to make sure it went well. We cannot recommend her and the company enough for any couple wanting a special first dance. We are so grateful to her and the team! -

An incredible teacher and an unforgettable first dance!
We reached out to Yvette at the Next Step Company 3 or 4 weeks before the wedding day, as I (groom) am registered. blind and started to get nervous about dancing in front of so many people with no dance experience. We booked 3 sessions with Yvette at our flat, and already after session 1, I had gained so much confidence. Yvette is a wonderful teacher with so much patience and attention to detail. Not only did she tailor the dance to our wishes and abilities, but she was fantastic at explaining the different moves and positions in a way that both my partner and I could understand. She also spent extra time choreographing a routine for us in her own time, working out moves that would go with specific lyrics and parts of the song, and also provided edited versions of the track and alternative ideas for how we could do it. I could honestly not recommend this service highly enough. Everyone at our wedding said the first dance was an absolute highlight and they couldn't believe we pulled off the routine we did, featuring spins, a lift and a dip. Absolutely fantastic and I now want to go back and learn some more dances! -

In only one lesson Yvette planned our whole dance and gave us so many helpful tips for on the day. She genuinely cared about the moment for us and showed so much support. Definitely recommend! -

Cannot thank Yvette and the FABULOUS Emma in The Next Step Co. for all of their help and magic giving myself and my husband dance lessons on the run up to our wedding! They made us feel super confident and capable when neither of us are natural dancers! With the 3 dance class and struggling to get dates in the diary on the run up they were so accommodating and the dance went superbly! Helped so much having videos of our final rehearsal and also Emma brilliantly broke down all the dance steps to each part of the music for us to go over in the days before the wedding when we were practising! It's fair to say we had an absolute ball and with a bit of practice on the run up to the wedding day we felt SO much happier enjoying the moment when we knew what we were up to. Wanted to wait to get some photos back before posting this but I think you can tell we had a great time!
