  Amazing experience

  Danielle is an incredible wedding dance instructor! She listened to our goals, embraced our unconventional music choice, and crafted a show-stopping routine that we nailed in just three lessons. Her professionalism, punctuality, and lighthearted approach made the in-home lessons enjoyable and stress-free. We went from having no dance experience to feeling confident and ready to shine on our big day. Highly recommend!

  Amazing Wedding Dance Lessons

  Our teacher Danielle was fantastic! Despite our limited time and dance experience, she quickly assessed our comfort level and created a beautiful choreography that was easy to learn and practice. She was super nice and made our lessons enjoyable. Thanks to her, our dance was a hit at the wedding, we received so many compliments from our friends and family. A special shoutout to Yvette for her help in scheduling our lessons so efficiently. Highly recommend The Next Step to anyone looking for a wedding dance teacher!

  A wonderful experience!

  We cannot thank The Next Step Co. enough for the amazing lessons they gave us. We both had no dance experience and felt quite nervous about planning a routine for our first dance. Fran created a beautiful routine for us with some nice surprises for the guests. Thank you Fran!

  First dance choreo

  Yvette is amazing, I can't recommend her enough. We still practice our wedding dance 1 year on! She really tailored the dance to us, and it was a really fun part of the preparations amongst the stress of planning a wedding. She's absolutely lovely and if you're on the fence you should definitely go for it!

  Amazing way to learn your first dance!

  Fran and Yvette were amazing. This was exactly what we were looking for - the ability to learn and practice a dance in the comfort of our own home. The dance was perfect to our needs, easy for my partner to learn who’s never had any dance training before, and we had so many compliments. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

  Fabulous experience with Fran

  We had the pleasure of taking lessons with Fran ahead of our wedding in April 2024.
  
  Fran was extremely approachable and cheerful and had truly endless patience with us, especially as we were both very busy at work and had only limited time to practise in our own time.
  
  Fran worked out very quickly which methods worked with each of us and taught us the various steps individually and then as part of sequences. She planned out a beautiful choreography for our chosen song and we managed to learn it in 5 lessons!
  
  Fran was super flexible when scheduling lessons, working around our timetables and within the limited time ahead of our wedding (we only started lessons about 5 weeks out from the wedding). We had the lessons in the communal studio in the gym in our building which was super convenient, and for our final lesson the night before the wedding Fran came to our wedding venue where we could practice on the actual dance floor, which was incredibly helpful! Fran always made sure we got through the material for the lesson, helping us film ourselves and writing out the steps on text so we could go back over it in our own time, which really helped us make progress in the final weeks.
  
  Needless to say, Fran was right and we absolutely aced the dance on the wedding day. Everything was perfect, including the lean, the lift and the dip, and our guests were super impressed. We can't stop re-watching video clips of our first dance and are so glad we decided to go for a choreographed first dance.
  
  We highly recommend Fran to anyone thinking about learning a choreographed first dance - just do it! You won't regret it!

  First dance lesson with lovely Emma

  We are so glad we made the decision to book a first dance lesson with The Next Step Co, and particularly Emma. Not being natural dancers ourselves, we were feeling a little anxious about our first dance. Emma was incredibly professional and knew exactly how to make us feel at ease. The dance is totally suited to our abilities and she has even made us feel comfortable with a little lift within the dance! Would 100% recommend booking a lesson with Emma to ease any pressure ahead of your big day. Thank you!

  The best. Made something I was really nervous about in to something great!
