Sallie-Beth is an incredible dance teacher. She really listened to me and my now husband and created a dance that felt authentic to us. I was so anxious about the first dance and she made it so much more enjoyable. I was also very impressed that she could teach the dance in our tiny London flat!! We got so many compliments on the dance, best decision ever!Dance Of A Lifetime's reply:

Jessica Sent on 17/01/2026The best wedding and hen do dance experience
Sally-Beth was the perfect instructor, giving us four dance lessons within the month before our wedding. She came to our house, at convenient dates and times, working around our new baby's needs. Always upbeat and fun to work with.
It was great value for money. James and I loved our lessons. I like that we discussed bits of choreography and fed into the creative process too.
I was also lucky to have a fab experience on my hen do, learning a flash mob routine to Flashdance with my friends.
A real highlight of the wedding when we performed the dances!

Sallie is the best person we could have asked for to put together our first dance.
She is fun, sweet, caring, and full of energy.
She created a beautiful choreography to a compilation of Sia’s “Snowman”, “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone, and “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” from Dirty Dancing.
Thanks to her, our first dance was romantic, fun, and a little bit sexy.
Sallie is truly amazing at what she does — she really listens, cares, and makes the whole experience special.

Sallie was such a dream! Neither of us are very confident dancers but Sallie came up with a perfect routine for us to practice. The lessons were so fun and Sallie is such a natural teacher. Imogen Sent on 24/07/2025The Best First Dance Experience - We Couldn’t Have Done It Without Sallie
We had such a fantastic experience with Dance of a Lifetime, thanks to our amazing instructor, Sallie. From the very first lesson, she put us completely at ease – she’s incredibly warm, encouraging, and has a real gift for teaching. Neither of us had ever danced before, but Sallie somehow managed to choreograph a routine that included spins, dips, lifts, and even a section to a rap verse – and made it feel achievable (and fun!) every step of the way.
Sallie has a brilliant way of breaking things down so they never feel overwhelming, and she’s so positive and patient, even when we got the same move wrong five times in a row :) She genuinely made each lesson something we looked forward to, and we always left smiling and laughing.
Our first dance ended up being one of the highlights of the day – our guests absolutely loved it, and we felt so proud of what we managed to do. We honestly can’t recommend Sallie and Dance of a Lifetime enough. If you’re thinking about doing a first dance, especially if you’re total beginners like us, book a few lessons – you won’t regret it!

My partner and I realised a month before our wedding that us trying to choreograph some sort of first dance was never going to end well! So on a Thursday evening I reached out to Dance Of A Lifetime, having found them recommended on Hitched, and we were having our first lesson by Saturday afternoon! Sallie immediately put us at ease and was so positive, encouraging and patient over our two sessions and made the whole experience really fun. We had the pleasure of working with Sallie as our first dance choreographer, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the very first session, Sallie’s high energy, warmth, and positivity made us feel comfortable and confident, even though we were pretty much beginners.
She created a beautiful choreography for our chosen song that perfectly suited us as a couple. Each session was fun, engaging, and tailored to our pace. By the end, we not only had a first dance we were proud of, but we also truly enjoyed the process of learning it together.
