My partner and I had four dance lessons in the lead up to our wedding, we had such a great time. Becky was a phenomenal teacher, she was so patient with us, as my husband and I are complete beginners when it comes to dancing. We found it was a great was to relax and have fun in the lead up to the wedding, as well as looking amazing on the day.ALL STEPS FIRST DANCE (wedding dance lessons)'s reply:

Our dance teacher (Ziggie) was incredible, we immediately felt at ease and quickly learnt a fabulous first dance routine for our wedding. Pre classes I'd been wondering how I'd ever remember very many moves but I needn't have worried, after every class we felt so confident and really enjoyed practising in between classes - on our wedding night we didn't have to think at all, it was second nature. Our teacher and everyone we spoke to in booking the lessons were all super lovely and keen to be flexible on times etc (we have a 20 year old and were very restricted with our childminders availability). My teacher Helena was amazing!!! She was super patient to us both being first time dancing together, and worked tirelessly to make sure our routine was what we had envisioned. She made us feel at ease and even my fiance commented that it wasn't so bad after all and actually enjoyed the experience (nothing that he refused to come to lessons for the longest time). She really adapted to the style that we wanted and even pre-studied some videos I had sent her!! The dance on the night was awesome and the guests thought we were super professional! From the start, booking of our lessons was really smooth and easy. Michaela contacted us a few weeks before our first lesson to confirm details. She came to our house and worked with what space we had. She was amazing and our first dance went down so well with our guests. She was happy to tweak moves that we struggled with and was so patient when we got tired. We would highly recommend. -

We enjoyed our lessons. Our instructor was very friendly, and flexible.
We would recommend the service.
But our only itch is that we only realised on our wedding day that some of the moves we learned did not work well with my type of wedding dress. Luckily we got some privacy to practice our dance hours before the time with my dress on and found that I could not perform the spin-out the same way as in practice and keep the timing. I initially got really stressed out, but we modified the moves, rather than cancel our dance.

Thank you for your feedback, really appreciate it. It’s a good idea to practise the dance with a similar long/big general dress/under skirt in rehearsal if you know you have a dress that would restrict a movement in a wedding dance. Thank you for letting us know and glad it went well overall

Lessons for our first dance at wedding
First class instruction and venue. Went at the correct pace and allowed us to adapt to match our own expectations and needs. It obviously worked as we nailed it on the day. Made it that more special rather than just swaying in the middle. -
