  Seamless, professional, great vibes

  Martin kindly stepped in at the last moment for our wedding in November 2025 following a cancellation and helped turn a stressful situation into a breeze and make our wedding day extra special. Having an extensive repertoire he adapted to the jazzy vibes we were after, covering our exact requests for the ceremony and providing further options. Helpfully Martin knew the venue and the general order of the day and provided a seamless professional service - all the right tracks at the right time, taking a few song requests on the day during the reception. Very pleasant and easy to work with, Martin blended perfectly to the vibes of our wedding day. Thanks for the top service Martin and helping us out at the last moment!

  10/10 Weding Pianist

  We got married in October 2025 & had the best day, in no small part down to the Yorkshire Wedding Pianist. He played before, during and after the ceremony (including the aisle walk) & then he played alongside a saxophonist during the drinks reception. He was absolutely awesome & I highly recommend him to anybody!

  Something a bit special

  Martin was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. I had always wanted a pianist to play at my wedding and Martin created the perfect atmosphere for our special day. His communication with us from the moment we booked him was excellent and we really appreciated that he played so many of the songs on the (very long!) list that we sent to him in advance. I would highly recommend Martin to anyone wanting something truly special and personal to you.

  Can’t thank Martin enough

  Martin was amazing from booking to his sets on the day.
  I asked Martin if he could work with me to create a personalised voiceover set to music for the prelude to our ceremony. He worked with me back and forth to create it exactly as I imagined and everyone complimented it on the day (and cried their eyes out)!
  He catered to requests in the drinks reception and gave the most calming atmosphere to our day
  Super responsive to emails and will recommend him to anyone I know getting married in future!

  Wonderful addition to our wedding day

  Martin was absolutely wonderful. A few weeks before the wedding we had a call where he asked what we wanted including favourite songs & any special requests. This was easy to do as he had a list on his website as inspiration, but you could add 1-2 of your own as well. On the day it was simply stunning! The guests loved having him there.   Amazing Pianist

  We booked Yorkshire Wedding Pianist – Martin Hamer for our drinks reception, and he was absolutely fantastic. He played all the songs we requested, along with others that perfectly matched the style of music we love. The atmosphere he created was wonderful, and so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. Martin is a talented pianist and was a great addition to our big day we highly recommended!

  Made our ceremony so beautiful and our cocktail reception classy!

  We had Martin at our wedding ceremony and cocktail reception - when we were wedding planning we hadn’t considered hiring a pianist, but after meeting Martin at a wedding fair, there was no way we could not. He completely transformed the ceremony and was very accommodating and supportive of our song choices, and he added a touch of class to the cocktail reception. From first meeting Martin, he has been quick to respond to any questions and a great communicator which really helps during wedding planning. Martin, thanks so much for making our wedding so beautiful, you were one of the best wedding decisions we made.

  Streamline and elegant.

  Martin played our drinks reception June 2025, booking process easy, plenty of choice on the repertoire, took additional requests on the day and played the classic dance anthems we really wanted! Cant wait to find an excuse to book him again. Much appreciated. Pictures and videos to follow

  Would definitely recommend

  Martin is brilliant. We wanted a mixture of traditional but also some recent and he knew and was able to play everything we asked. We were very impressed and he was so professional
