Karina Dey Violin, based in East Sussex provides wedding day entertainment.

A concert violinist performing at weddings and events in Sussex & London, UK.

In my 15 years of performance experience, I trained at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London (BMus Hons) and have played at luxury weddings, concerts, cruise ships, festivals, and private events worldwide.

My style is versatile, ranging from timeless classical pieces to modern pop covers, jazz standards, ragtimes and more. Each performance is tailored to your event.

I perform on an acoustic violin, amplified with high-quality backing tracks, and bring my own professional wireless PA system to ensure the best sound.

Wedding Ceremony package. This includes music before the service begins, processional music, music during the signing of the register, recessional music and music as guests leave

Yes, depending on the location, normally from £15

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Yes, date, Timings, Type of the event, Sets needed to play, Outdoor or indoor setting

How long is the act?

Depending on the package it can be anywhere from 15mins for wedding proposals to 3 sets for Wedding Ceremony and drinks reception

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

The set-up time is normally between 30min to 45mins

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

Do you do open-air acts?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

How do you charge extra time?

Agreed by the client beforehand

What are the forms of payment?

Deposit to reserve the date is paid by bank transfer on invoice. The rest can be either cash on the day or a bank transfer on invoice. Card payment is available on the day

My (now Husband) and I got married at Highley Manor at the end of August and we had the absolute pleasure of having Karina perform for our ceremony and reception drinks. It was honestly the most beautiful music and had me feeling so magical on my special day. Cannot recommend her enough!

A wondeful addition to your wedding

Hi Karina,
Karina was just simply the best. From the very beginning she worked hard to make it to my wedding even though it would be tight on time she worked hard and made it. Her performance is exceptional and just elevated the whole experience. To any bride wondering if a violinist is worth it I can definitely say Karina was. It was such a surreal calmness I felt when I heard her play. She is completely worth it and thank you again to Karina for performing at my wedding!
