Burns for Everyone is a theatre production company that is truly one of a kind, putting on fun, romantic productions guaranteed to make your wedding stand out with originality. Robert Burns, often known as Rabbie Burns, is known as the official Bard of Ayrshire. The company brings his presence to life through Donald Kay, the actor, surprising the wedding party and guests alike with a short performance of their romantic story.
Kay arrives at the party dressed in full 18th century period costume complete with boots, a book of poems, quill, and, of course, a rose for the happy couple. After engaging delightfully with guests, Kay asks the couple to hold hands, delightfully reciting verse with their names inserted for an intimate, specialised feel. In the end, he cites perhaps the most famous Burns poem, "My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose," a romantic, beautiful end before he wishes the wedding party farewell.
The performance can typically last around 10-20 minutes, depending on your preferences and style. In addition to lovely music, dreamy decor, and a delightful ceremony, Burns For Everyone's special presentation of performance and poetry is bound to touch everyone's hearts.
