Believe it or not flossy as we call her ( Chantelle) was the first person we met literally a week after my daughter got engaged when we went to a wedding fair and fell madly in love with her work and just her as a person , we just knew straight away she was the girl for us , we didn’t even have a date for the wedding or a venue but we knew Chantelle was coming with us wherever and whenever it was . It was nearly two weeks ago that she made our vision come to life on my daughters beautiful wedding day , everything looked fantastic and everyone had the best time , she genuinely feels like part of the family and I can’t recommend her enough 🥰

We booked our venue decor, dancefloor and photobooth with Flossy Pots events which made our wedding planning so much easier! Nothin was ever too much trouble we saw Chantelle and her team in the morning all promptly and i was just gobsmacked how much they transformed a dull room to my dream vision!!! Everyone commented on how gorgeous everything looked and the booth was such a hit, we had so much fun on it our guests loved the idea! OMG i cant get over it all!!! Terrible supplier to work with, failed to provide adequate service and correct pictures. Chantelle and her husband were incredibly hostile and aggressive when I raised a concern. Her husband was very rude to my guests on the day of the wedding, including inappropriate language, and packed up early to leave. Chantelle spoke to me in an appalling manner on my wedding day which resulted in bringing me to tears.

I booked Flossy Pots Events photo booth for my wedding and they did not deliver on their confirmed design. This portrait design was in fact printed on a landscape format, reducing the size of the photos. The photos could not be seen by our guests. I thought it was a simple mistake as Chantelle had sent the portrait design a few days before and I signed off on it. What came next was an abhorrent experience and only now have I felt brave enough to make this public.

Flossy Pots Events sells photo booths with a customisable print out to match your weddings theme. I mocked up a portrait design and she said we will try to get as close as possible. She said the software may have some limitations, but when she sent the designs over eventually (I had to chase many times to see them) they were in fact a close match, and in the portrait design.
There was an obvious misalignment issue where the photos were not correctly aligned with each other, another example of her poor attention to detail and quality of work. She did correct this when I pointed it out, but it shouldn’t have been sent to the client if it wasn’t correct. This was a running theme as she previously sent examples of her work and they were misaligned too. So up to this point I was happy as I had signed off on the design.
I have screenshots of all our conversations via email and Instagram to prove everything. As you can see from the final print outs, there has clearly been a formatting error on Chantelle’s part, she has failed to set the printer to the correct format.

We also hired blossom trees from Flossy Pots Events and her Husband set these up. He arrived last minute to the venue and caused significant stress as the venue were concerned the setup would not be done in time for the guests arrival.

The photo booth was setup for the evening reception which her Husband also manned. The photo screen where you could view yourself before taking the photo was flickering so you couldn’t see yourself properly before taking the photos. Once these photos were printed, they came out printed the wrong way round.

Before I realised there was an issue, her Husband was telling guests he was “thinking of packing it in” to be a HGV driver. Bringing your employment problems to someone else’s wedding was totally unprofessional and made our guests extremely uncomfortable. When I approached him to see if the pictures could be turned the other way round, he said that the machine would not be able to do that, in a very abrupt tone. The distain in his tone was extremely defensive and not how a professional company would deal with their clients simple concerns. At no point was he willing to hear my side of the story or view the agreed sign off example.
I attempted several times to show the portrait designs Chantelle had sent over, however he repeatedly refused to engage. Once I had the evidence on my emails, he eventually called his wife and I spoke directly with her on the phone.

Chantelle was equally as angry, abrupt and incredibly rude, which is a very odd way to deal with complaints. On the phone I asked could they be printed correctly and her only repeated response, in an arrogant tone was “I told you the software had limitations” to which I repeatedly said “but you never said it would be on landscape. And you sent me a proof copy of a portrait design…which I signed off on”.

She failed to defuse the situation at any point, bearing in mind she was fully aware that I was in the middle of my wedding! She was that very aggressive on the phone, it brought me to tears in front of all my guests.

There was zero customer service and care for her own work to be delivered correctly. If she had known this was how the photos would be printed, then why was I sent a portrait example and not had the orientation specifically highlighted at sign off? Further more, you can see half the photos are cut off in the landscape version, why would any professional offer this service or quality of picture, knowing that it would be incomplete and of a terrible standard. This further highlights the lack of quality & professionalism of Flossy Pots Events design and work.

I said “we are going round in circles so if this can’t be resolved then I will be looking for some compensation”, to which she replied back vehemently threatening “You will not be getting anything back and I will pull the Photo Booth AND the Blossom Trees from your venue right now”. It was a very nasty threat that she was willing to ruin my evening reception by pulling the decorations down in front of my guests. She knew this would be embarrassing for me, I was in total disbelief a professional could be so nasty, I burst out crying so had to hand the phone over to my bridesmaid.

Chantelle was so vindictive once she was held accountable for doing something wrong. Rather than admitting she has made a mistake by not telling me the software could not print in portrait and try to rectify the situation, she doubled down on her excuse and was happy to threaten a bride on her wedding day. The vast majority of photobooth pictures as standard can print in both portrait and landscape. Chantelle may have forgotten to change the settings on the day. Instead of apologising and rectifying the issue, she felt aggressive, abusive and threatening behaviour would be the best course of action. Utterly, appalling to actively try to ruin someone’s wedding day.

My bridesmaid then spoke to her for a while to see what can be done. They agreed that we can still have the digital images and we can print them ourselves larger. This was going to be an extra expense for us but something I was willing to do.

Her Husband’s whole demeanor then changed and was very rude towards our guests, and we have many whiteness statements to support all of this. Without consultation, he started packing up the Photo Booth and sat in the van. The threat of them to take the blossom trees loomed over me all night. I was verbally attacked and felt bullied by them both. I was on edge all night and it ruined my memory of what should have been the best day of my life.


Both their unprofessionalism in the design process and delivery was appalling. I have privately emailed for a refund for the photo booth and have been greeted with the exact same poor customer care and bad attitude. As they are unwilling to deal with this directly, I am letting you know the truth as I want to ensure no one else has to experience what I have endured.

I wholeheartedly regret ever dealing with Chantelle and Flossy Pots Events. What a disaster! Funnily enough in their T&Cs they mention action will be taken against any internet defamation or slander. No other suppliers at my wedding day mention defamation in their terms, which speaks volumes that this is clearly not the first time they have received a complaint and why they needed to include this in the first place.

It has taken me a few months to get the courage to deal with this as I have felt so intimidated by both Chantelle and her Husband, I have been scared to speak up. But I think you deserve to know the truth.

I only expected tears of joy on my wedding day, but then I hired Flossy Pots.

Chantelle came to our rescue about 5 weeks before the wedding! She was so responsive, friendly and understood the assignment! What she created for us was bespoke and she is extremely well priced! When I saw the ceremony room and reception room it was like she had been inside my brain because it was exactly how I envisioned! The video audio book was also amazing! So funny watching all the messages back! She’s an absolute dream to work with and is one of the hardest workers we’ve come across, so happy we found her to be a part of our big day my only regret is not finding her sooner!
