Bliss Events by Katie: Multi Award Winning Venue Dressing & Styling for Weddings & Events across the North West. Our Wedding Brochure is packed full of recent Weddings, ideas and inspiration to request a brochure please send us an enquiry via Hitched, we would love to hear from you!
Each couple receives a tailored proposal based upon your requirements - no two weddings are the same which is why don't just send out price lists. We can work with you to create a package that suits your needs and your budget. To get started please send us an enquiry.
Katie is a professionally trained and qualified Wedding Planner and started out in the industry many years ago. If you are needing both Ceremony & Reception styling, if you are having your Ceremony elsewhere and just require dressing for the Reception venue or if you are getting married abroad and will be having a celebration then we can help!
Bliss Events can provide you with a whole host of decor to hire for your special day including:
- Aisle Styling & Ceremony Decor - aisle runner, plumes & plinths, signing table florals, candle lined aisle, feature decor
- Chair Dressing - we have over 20 different colours of chiffon in our collection suitable for chivari & cross back chairs and as chair hoods on banqueting chairs. We have white chair covers and a large selection of bow fabrics and colours
- Table Decor and Centrepieces - we have three grades of Centrepieces at Bliss Events. Our Rose Range is our smallest, Peony the medium collection and Lily are our tall. All florals and designs can be customised to your colours
- Table linen / napkins / charger plates - from white and black table linen to luxury crushed velvet we can provide your table cloths and coordinating napkins should you need it. Charger Plates - we have gold beaded charger plates in our collection
- Feature decor - we have our Florence Arch / Rachel Moongate / 3 x Rustic Frame Backdrops/ 2 large fabric backdrops - Megan & Ellie which can be used to cover an area should you need too; 12 x luxury cloth backed Flower Walls and 12 x elegant Sequin Walls all with a matte finish
- A huge collection of custom designed Neon Signs in our collection - let's light it up! Plus we offer a design service for custom neon signs
- We have a range of items which we call Event Essentials which include all those extra touches - easel hire, postbox, cake stands, donut walls etc
- Vintage China Hire.

Everything I imagined!
We couldn’t be happier with the incredible service provided by Bliss Events by Katie. From our very first meeting, Katie was warm, professional, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life.
Even though she had never styled Wrenbury Hall before, she made the effort to meet me there a couple of months ahead of the big day. We walked through the entire venue together, and Katie took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, offering creative ideas while always keeping my preferences front and centre.
Following our meeting, she sent over a detailed styling proposal, covering everything we had discussed. It was clear that she had listened to every word. Not only was it beautifully presented, but the pricing was incredibly reasonable, especially for the high quality and attention to detail she provides.
The styling options available through Bliss Events by Katie are amazing — from stunning silk flowers and elegant candles to stylish neon signs and more; and it was difficult to choose out of all of the options available as we loved them all. The Rachel Moongate we chose was even more breathtaking in person. The team decorated both our ceremony room and the wedding breakfast room. We chose to keep the ceremony room simple and elegant as the ceiling was already extravagantly decorated; and then we went all out in the wedding breakfast room bringing in a dusty blue to match the bridesmaid dresses.
If you're looking for someone to make your venue look perfect and exactly as you imagined (or better!), Bliss Events by Katie is the styling and décor team you need. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Stress-free venue dresser
When planning our wedding, we contacted multiple suppliers to dress our venue and received numerous extortionate quotes.
We found the process of searching for a venue dresser quite overwhelming, as we had a more intimate wedding. Finding someone who would understand our vision was difficult until we spoke to Katie at Bliss Events.
Katie was a dream to work with, she was very transparent with costs and never promoted or pushed us to increase our budget. She provides amazing value for money.
Communication was great and we met at the venue a few weeks before the wedding to tie up all the final details. The whole process was incredibly easy and with Bliss taking care of all the venue dressing, it was definitely one less thing to worry about on the day!
I would 100% recommend working with Bliss Events for your wedding or occasion. You won’t regret it!

Katie was extremely easy to talk to.
We chatted for over 1/2 hour.
We discussed colours, flowers, design, ceremony and reception set-up, guest & table numbers.
Initially 2 set-ups with approx 150 guests.
Katie gave me a clear idea of costs from the very beginning.
After a change of mind (we actually got married in Church).
Which meant just 1 set-up, and as the date got closer the numbers reduced.
When I contacted Katie to explain, she wasn't phased, we just clarified the changes and she amended the invoice.
Katie is approachable professional with lovely way about her.
Katie was full of ideas, her knowledge is second to none.
I felt confident she would do a good job.
When we arrived at the reception we had a first look.
Boy oh boy it wasn't just a good job it was breath taking.

Katie was absolutely fantastic from the minute we first enquired with her. We had a budget in mind along with very precise decor ideas which we really didn’t want to have to change/re think.
I spoke to Katie about what we wanted and she gave us a price. This was over budget for us but Katie gave us options of how we could come to a conclusion to not have to compromise on what we wanted and remain in budget.
The decor Katie provided was everything we wanted, if not more. Every single detail was absolutely stunning and everyone commented on our gorgeous decor which was all down to Katie.
Katie stuck around to help change the room round for the evening, this was due to use wanting a specific look for both day and night. Katie just couldn’t do enough!

Magical day in Heaton House Farm
Bliss by Katie are incredible. From the first message I knew I had found the most incredible person to decorate our beautiful venue. Katie met with me at our venue and instantly made me see what she could do. She is just magical we can’t thank you enough!

Best day of our life’s ✨
Katie is like your fairy godmother and more. Her eye for detail, gives her the ability to turn the venue into much more, than just a beautiful room. I loved how personal it felt to work with her. Her reassurance, knowledge and expertise glowed around her. I can honestly say she is amazing. I would recommend Katie all day long and can honestly say the compliments we got on the day for how she designed the room and tables, blew everyone away. Myself and Ian loved every minute of our wedding day and it truly was .. the best day of our life’s.

Blessing in disguise!!
Katie was an absolute gem to have dress our venue, as well as offer a lot of advice through the whole experience. She was always reachable and responded promptly. The ease of sending her a few ideas and her sending through pictures of her decor she thought would be perfect. Even able to add on a few last minuet extras we chose was no problem. Katie has wide knowledge around weddings and venues and conveniently she was around while we had a meeting with the new management of our venue and was able to offer loads of help advice with us being not so confident and unsure what would be best. Katie made the venue stunning the quality of the decor the creative eye she’s blessed with honestly is second to non. Everyone took a breath and commented on what an amazing job she had done. Pricing was extremely reasonable as she was not only a venue dresser but became a therapist and practically a wedding planner. A lovely genuine lady who really has a flare for her profession.

Wedding at The Plough
Bliss by Katie was an amazing service for our wedding venue. Katie kept in touch throughout the planning of our wedding & offered so much decor to choose from for our room at the wedding reception.
Katie was extremely efficient, responsive to messages & nothing was too much trouble, lovely & friendly mannerism, making wedding preparations easier.

One in a million!
Where do I even begin! Katie is honestly the most genuine, down to earth person I have ever met. From the very first message with our enquiry she was always attentive, answered any questions and offered advice to any question I asked (which was a lot!). There was no pushy sales with Katie, she was willing to work with any idea or vision that we had for our wedding and would always be super flexible with us.
Her eye for detail is second to none! Our venue decor was everything I’d dreamed of and more, everything Katie and her team did on our wedding day just pulled the whole thing together for us, it was honestly so beautiful. If you do one thing, hire Bliss Events!
I reached out to Katie after finding her on Hitched and I'm so glad I did. I had a rough idea of what I wanted for our wedding, but couldn't quite explain it in detail, yet Katie got exactly what I meant and put together a detailed proposal. She was so lovely, friendly and responsive throughout the entire process. Katie met up with us ahead of the wedding to do a walk through and go through everything which put my mind at ease being the stressy bride that I was. Everything she provided was great quality and really well priced. It also made my life soooo much easier knowing someone was sorting out all the decor and I didn't need to source it and store it myself.
So if you're looking for a venue dresser, I'd definitely recommend Katie!

Amazing owner & amazing decor- show stopping.
Ahh. Where do I start. James my husband and myself LOVE Katie, she is the amazing. She listens to our visions and brings the glamour to our events. She brought the glam to both our engagement party and wedding. Everyone made comments on our rose walls and neon signs. They really were a feature for photos and the perfect backdrop. Any parties we host we will be using Katie for our decor. FIVE star, hands down. Highly recommend. Katie is easily to communicate with and she works SO hard to make your dreams come true as she wants your event to look as glam as possible too. She will answer any questions you have and resolve any issues. Thank you Katie 🤍!
