Hi, I’m Terri — a Humanist celebrant trained and accredited by Humanists UK. I create and conduct legal weddings, vow renewals, and baby naming ceremonies across Northern Ireland, and I’m always happy to travel further afield when love calls.

Every ceremony I write is completely bespoke. I take the time to get to know each couple, learn their story, and craft a ceremony that feels genuinely theirs. Whether you want something light‑hearted, deeply emotional, full of symbolic rituals, or beautifully simple, I’ll shape the ceremony around your personalities and your vision for the day.

Your ceremony can include anything from personalised vows and meaningful readings to symbolic actions such as handfasting, unity candles, sand blending, or oath stones — or none of the above if you prefer something straightforward and unfussy. Whatever the size or style, my goal is always the same: to create a ceremony that feels personal, inclusive, and uniquely yours.

I create ceremonies for all sizes:

• Micro weddings and elopements (just you two)
• Small, intimate ceremonies (nearest & dearest)
• Big “let’s invite everyone” celebrations
• Vow renewals (for those still can't get enough of each other)
• Legal cermonies for couples heading off for destination weddings (its always easier to have legal part at home)
• At‑home celebrations for couples returning from destination weddings (well we love a big party and don't want anyone to miss out on the ceremony)

Although I deliver non‑religious ceremonies, I’m not anti‑religion. People of all faiths and none are warmly welcomed at Humanist ceremonies. A prayer or religious reading can be included in your ceremony.

About Me

Think of me as your friendly neighbourhood storyteller with a microphone: part public‑speaker, part hopeless romantic. Outside of ceremonies, I love a good laugh, all furry animals, and travelling. My two children are grown up now, so it’s just me, my husband, and the cat ruling the house.

I’m happy to meet you both for a coffee or chat online to hear what you’re hoping for in your ceremony. If you feel I’m a good fit, we’ll move on to the fun part: exploring readings, symbolic actions, and vow options. If you’d like to write your own vows, I can guide you through that too.

Once I’ve learned your story, I’ll create a draft script for you to review. After your feedback, I’ll craft your final ceremony script — polished, personal, and ready for your big day.

I can also walk you through all the legal requirements for getting married in Northern Ireland, making the process as smooth and stress‑free as possible.
