Julie is truly incredible at what she does. We were overwhelmed by guests afterwards saying her ceremony was the best they had ever seen at a wedding.
She created a ceremony that epitomised us and perfectly reflected the balance of romance, heartfelt moments and a touch of comedy that we asked of her. She used the format of a love story and wove in the readings that she helped us pick, our own ideas, our vows, and traditional and historic ceremony elements to create a beautiful story arc.
Julie was the best of all the suppliers we worked with. We had a couple of online meetings with her, and could have had more. She was always really prepared, but patient with us making decisions, and knew the right questions to ask. She was in touch with us regularly via WhatsApp too and by the wedding day it really felt like we were being married by someone we had known for years.
We could not recommend her highly enough.

Julie was fantastic start to end, the moment we met we knew she would be our celebrant. She really helped build out our ceremony, offering loads of ideas and listening to what we wanted from the day. It really helped set the tone for an incredibly personal day full of fun and laughs - all our guests said they loved how the ceremony went and that it was very true to us. Julie was a joy to work with, personal, calm and brilliant at guiding us through the whole process. Our family have said they loved the ceremony and really enjoyed how intimate and personal it was. My hubby and I also had a handfasting ceremony, which added a special touch to the ceremony. Thank you again for everything, you made it perfect for us. The Perfect Celebrant!
Julie was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we had our first Zoom call with her, we knew she was the right choice for us. Julie is incredibly kind and friendly. We had a couple of online meetings with her in the lead up to the wedding and also visited her at home to meet face to face. She showed such an interest in getting to know us both from the get go, so we knew we were in safe hands.
On the day, Julie was an absolute superstar. The ceremony couldn't have gone better, and it was lovely to hear the love story she put together for us which had most of our friends and family in tears! She set the tone for the day perfectly, and Julie, we cannot thank you enough! We would highly recommend Julie to anyone looking for a wedding celebrant.

Wedding Vows at The Andaz Hotel London
Julie was friendly and personable and keen to get to know Jacob and Nour and understand what they wanted from their wedding service . She was professional and supportive and delivered a relaxed service bringing humour which reflected both of their personalities . Planning the wedding from another country wasn’t easy however Julies guidance and calm personality made the process so much easier . The service was engaging and emotional and told the story of Jacob and Nours journey to their wedding day well . Surprise ceremony for our Ruby wedding anniversary.
We had always wanted to renew our vowels as we married young in a registery office. So on our Ruby wedding anniversary our family threw a surprise party but had also arranged for Julie Basacre to perform a hand tying ceremony. She had clearly listened to our family and made it so personal to us it was beautiful. It was such a special ceremony which completely summed up our love for each other. We first used Julie for a relative's vow renewal a few years ago and were really impressed with her professional, yet personal service and her ability to make their occasion memorable. So we asked her, as a long shot, if she'd do our own 25 year vow renewal... in Venice. This lovely, dedicated lady followed us to Italy and gave us the most beautiful and romantic memories in a hand-fasting ceremony of which she crafted every detail, even going out to buy silk ribbons that matched my dress. All our guests loved it - we laughed, we had a tear and we were brought together by her words and her inner radiance. Memories that will remain with us for years to come.
