It’s hard to put into words how much it meant to have Sally there, leading such an important moment in our lives. She was absolutely fantastic - calm, warm, funny, and so thoughtful throughout. We felt completely held by her, and so many of our friends and family made a point of saying how brilliant she was.
Sally helped us shape a ceremony that truly felt like “us” - it couldn’t have been more perfect. We especially loved what she wrote about us as a couple: how we met and where we are today. It was meaningful, personal, and full of heart. We honestly couldn’t have done it without her.
She made the whole planning process feel so easy and stress-free, and on the day itself, she put us completely at ease. We really couldn’t recommend her more highly.

We used Sally as the celebrant for our wedding and she was exceptional. From the start, Sally guided us. She explained what to expect, how to avoid frequent problems, and prepared us for what lay ahead.
Having Sally on our team was the most reassuring choice we made. She is kind-hearted, adaptable, enthusiastic and reliable. She suggested things we hadn't thought of that truly made our ceremony remarkable.

We recently used Sally for our celebrant ceremony. She was very easy to book with and always responsive to emails. The ceremony was perfectly tailored to us, a short but sweet ceremony. We had a lot of positive comments from guests, including thay it seemed Sally had known us for years as she captured us so well in her writing. Getting to know Sally over the months leading up to our wedding was a pleasure. She’s warm, kind and very insightful!
Sally wrote an amazing ceremony for us, it was wonderfully personal and our family and friends all commented on how it was full of soul. That was exactly what we’d hoped for when we opted for a celebrant rather than a registrar, and I’m so pleased with how it turned out.
On the day, Sally mingled with our guests, put the groom at ease and helped on of our speakers, who is 11, feel a lot more comfortable in standing up at the front. For me as the bride, I was incredibly anxious but Sally’s got a way of making everyone feel really comfortable and so nerves quickly evaporated.
I would recommend Sally again in a heartbeat - we are so grateful to her for her support and guidance and for the beautiful ceremony she created. Perfection!Ceremonies by Sally's reply:

Adam Sent on 26/06/2025A wonderful ceremony and a brilliant experience
Due to the legal complications of getting married in the UK as a non-UK resident, my fiancée and I looked into using a celebrant to have a humanist celebration on our big day with all the look and feel of a ‘proper’ wedding. From first speaking with Sally, she had the personality we were looking for in terms of being happy and friendly, and was consultative throughout the process and our many questions.
We spoke a few times before Sally then put together a script based on answers to some questions she had asked us about our relationship. What came out of this was great; a more personal ‘script’ than you’d get going down the council route, with humour and feeling within it but also staying true to a ‘traditional ceremony’.
On the day, Sally was brilliant - calming my nerves in the moments before the grand entrance and reminding me of my lines when I slipped up during the vows. It was a pleasure to have Sally be part of our big day and would recommend her thoroughly to anyone considering a celebrant.Ceremonies by Sally's reply:

We stumbled across Sally's website whilst looking for a celebrant for our intimate seaside wedding and since our very first chat with her, she helped make the whole experience so special and stress free! She tailor made a perfect ceremony with all the most important elements to us, including a funny and moving speech and a meaningful sand ceremony. Her words made our guests laugh and cry, and made the day one we'll never forget! On the day her experience helped things run smoothly. She was so easy to work with and made the process a breeze.
