Amy planned our April 2025 wedding and we also hired her as our celebrant. Both were the best decisions we made!!
From our very first intro call in July 2023, Amy was friendly, professional and really got what we were after. After chatty through what we had in mind, she immediately had an idea of the perfect venue and managed to snag us the date we had in mind.
From there on Amy was with us every step of the way! She was the ultimate wedding bestie - suggesting incredible suppliers and giving us peace of mind that everything was coming together just as it needed to. She got us some great deals and lots of advice on where best to spend or save, and the wedding came on budget.
When it came to the ceremony, Amy sent us through a wonderful questionnairre to really consider our love story and what elements we wanted to include. This resulted in a wonderful, personalised ceremony full of humour and happiness.
Her on the day co-ordination was seamless! We didn't need to think about a single thing! She had everything completely under control and meant we got to enjoy our wedding day to the absolute fullest with zero stress.

It’s like your friend is marrying you
There are not enough words to cover how much we would recommend Amy.
From the very first call, it was like talking to a friend and I even came off it telling my now husband that “I’m sure I know her”. Everything with Amy was effortless, and she has such an amazing positive energy that emanates from her and surrounds everything she does.
She nailed the ceremony speech, adjusting it to fit our tweaks and incorporating some last minute ideas. Even during the ceremony, she reacted to comments and glances, engaging with everyone there and helping to make everyone feel special and involved.
She is an all round wonderful human and an even more incredible celebrant, and I cannot recommend Amy enough. If you’re unsure, meet her and the rest will be history as her personality will win you over. -

Amy was absolutely brilliant in every aspect of the wedding process. She guided us through writing our vows and with a series of questionnaires she compiled a really funny and thoughtful ceremony for us. Many people commented on how well Amy knew us and how personalised our ceremony was. We live in Australia and Amy went above and beyond with organising team chats across the different time zones. She was funny, warm and very easy to get along with. We are super glad Amy was part of our special day.Amy Butler Events's reply:

Wonderful celebrant!
Amy was fantastic! She had been so easy and responsive throughout planning, helping us build the perfect ceremony, we had multiple edits of the script and on the day everyone complimented us on how warm and funny she was. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Amy as a celebrant to anyone getting married. -

Amy is the best
We had Amy as our celebrant in December 2024, and she was incredible. We wanted to have a relaxed and fun ceremony, and Amy worked with us to develop our ideas and come up with a ceremony everyone could enjoy. She managed to lead us and our guests through a sing-a-long, a tea ceremony, helped us with our personal vows, and changed the wording of our ring exchange to be similar to a hand fastening. She kept in good contact throughout the year checking in on us, and sending us drafts of the ceremony to review whilst keeping some elements secret.
All our guests was absolutely raving about Amy all day and couldn’t believe that she wasn’t just one of our friends who we had gotten to do the ceremony!! They all loved how much they got to hear about us in the love story and so many people have said it was the best ceremony they have witnesses.
We had the best day, but our favourite part was the ceremony and that’s 100% due to Amy!

Best decision we ever made
Amy was fantastic from start to finish! Her sense of humour was spot on with ours so we all got on so well!
