Unforgettable, unique and full of love - even our dog had a starring role!
From the moment we met Claire, she just got us. We wanted a small, personalised ceremony that was full of warmth, laughter and heart - and she delivered it perfectly. She guided us through everything with calm, humour and so much care.
Our wedding took place in a stunning field surrounded by nature in rural West Berkshire, and Claire used the setting so beautifully in the ceremony itself. She even helped us plan a wet-weather Plan B (which, thankfully, we didn’t need!).
Claire came up with the brilliant idea of adding an Irish twist for my wife’s family - ‘locking the door behind the groom’ - which we recreated in the middle of the field with a set of double doors and used at the start of the ceremony for a quiet blessing with our parents. Everyone loved it.
We also had our dog, Atlas, as the Ring Bearer, and a handfasting where our family and friends helped to tie the knot - literally. Before that, Claire invited everyone to take part in a ‘cord warming’, passing the ribbons down each row so every guest could hold them and make a warm wish of love for our future. It was incredibly moving and set the tone for the whole ceremony.
The whole day was relaxed, emotional and exactly what we wanted. My mum and every single guest commented on how amazing the ceremony was. It was small, personal and stress-free - a day we’ll never forget. Even the photographer said he’d never witnessed such a unique and beautiful ceremony.
Claire is fantastic at what she does - she has this gift for turning ideas into moments that feel effortless and completely yours.

Simply the best
Claire wrote the most beautiful and personal vow renewal ceremony. It was full of love, laughter and sentiment. Claire just got us and understand who we were as a couple instantly. She is so friendly and approachable and nothing is too much trouble. On the day Claire was amazing and everything ran smoothly. We had so many compliments on the ceremony and Claire as a celebrant.
If you are looking for a celebrant look no further as Claire really is your lady for the job. We can’t thank her enough.

Our sweetest, amazing Claire - what an unforgettable day! The ceremony was absolutely perfect, hilarious, heartfelt and completely us. We still cry (happy tears!) thinking about it.
To anyone thinking about booking Claire to create your wedding ceremony - do it!
From the very first chat about our plans she understood exactly what we wanted and what mattered most. She created a wedding that was both fun and deeply emotional, blending our love of rock ’n’ roll with moments that had everyone - even the toughest leather-and-stud-clad rockers - wiping away tears behind their designer sunglasses.
The wedding started with us both - separately - walking down the aisle to our own theme tunes and that set the tone for the rest of the ceremony.
Our wedding took place at a local venue without a marriage licence, which gave us complete freedom to design the ceremony exactly how we wanted it. Claire wrote and delivered the most incredible Love Story that had our guests laughing out loud one minute and reaching for tissues the next. And the Cocktail Mixing Ceremony she dreamed up was pure genius - resulting in our very own 'Lady Annica & Sir David' Cocktail. Guests still talk about it!
Everyone said it was the most original and entertaining ceremony they’d ever been to, yet still full of heart, humour and love. In fact, one guest was so blown away that she later booked Claire for her own daughter’s wedding - saying no one else could possibly do a better job.

Catherine Sent on 20/10/2025Unforgettable, heartfelt and full of love – a ceremony that had everyone laughing and crying
We wanted a ceremony that was personal, heartfelt and a true reflection of our story – and Claire delivered that and so much more. From our very first conversation she understood exactly what we wanted and guided us through every detail with warmth, humour and care.
Our wedding took place in the beautiful Temple of Peace in Cardiff, straight after our small legal ceremony, and Claire made the transition into our full celebration seamless. Every guest felt part of the day. She included a ring warming so everyone could hold our rings and pass on their love and blessings while she told our Love Story – a story that had the entire room laughing one minute and wiping away tears the next.
Claire also came up with a wonderful way to honour loved ones we’ve lost, inviting us to light a candle quietly at the beginning and giving their photos pride of place so they could “watch” the ceremony with us. My sister read a Welsh poem, and both my husband and I walked down the aisle to our own music – it truly felt like our ceremony belonged to us and our families.
So many guests said it was the most moving, personal and unique wedding they’d ever attended. It was everything we hoped for and more: beautiful, emotional, funny and full of love.

Claire came very highly recommended and certainly did not disappoint! Claire exceeded every dream and expectation and helped us to create the most beautiful, perfect, personalised wedding ceremony. Guests have since told us that "It was the best wedding they had ever been to". We had the ceremony filmed and have watched it many times already, still laughing and crying throughout.
Having sadly lost my Dad - I wanted to honour him in a special, memorable way. But no sadness ... just joy. We had a cocktail-making mini ceremony, a strong drink to help us calm the nerves and a moment to remember Dad with some very warm words from Claire.
Our ceremony also included a wedding time capsule, promise ring/jewellery for my children, a heartfelt Love Story written by Claire, handfasting/tying the knot .. and hidden wedding rings and a very special secret ring-bearer.

From the very start, we told Claire we wanted a ceremony that felt adventurous, full of humour and love (and beer!), and completely personal to us. She absolutely delivered. Our Love Story was told with so much care – from the light-hearted moments (Hello, Wetherspoons) that made everyone laugh to the words that had us both in tears, it was everything we’d hoped for and more. The handfasting ribbons, our loved ones' surprise at being invited to step up to place them, and the closing 'summit' moment under the willow tree with confetti flying made it unforgettable. Guests told us they’d never experienced a ceremony so personal, heartfelt and fun. Claire struck the perfect balance – laughter, happy tears, and words about our relationship that felt exactly right. Right after the ceremony I told Claire, "I always knew it was going to be good - I had no idea it could have been that good!". I first saw Claire conduct a wedding some time ago, and I practically insisted that Rachel have her for hers. It was the best advice I could have given. What stood out was that Rachel and James’ ceremony wasn’t a copy of the other – it was completely their own. From the cocktail-mixing tribute, to Daisy’s commitment ring, Dougie’s token, my mum, aka Nanny Peg, as the secret ring bearer, and the time capsule, it was full of fun, warmth, variety and meaning. Claire handled everything with such care, especially in the way she spoke about family. Guests laughed, cried and said they’d never been to a wedding like it. If you’re looking for an officiant who can gracefully steer a ship through beautiful, hilarious madness – look no further than Claire. She pulled together our full ceremony in just 11 days (her record, apparently!) and made it look like it took months. Claire was not just our officiant; she was the calm in the storm, the glue holding it all together, and honestly, the MVP of our wonderfully chaotic wedding day. From the moment we met her, we knew we were in good hands. She took the time to get to know us, understand our story, and somehow translated our barely-organised thoughts into a ceremony that was heartfelt, hilarious, and 100% us. The handfasting under the Pride flags was the most beautiful symbol – a moment we and our guests will never forget. And thank goodness for her composure, because let’s be real – nothing went according to plan. One bride arriving too early, a groomsman without the cords… through it all, Claire didn’t miss a beat. She rolled with every twist with a smile, cracked the perfect jokes at just the right moments, and made everyone feel the magic in the chaos. She struck a beautiful balance between sentiment and humour, and somehow made our ceremony feel like it was meant to be that way all along. Guests are still talking about how personal and real it felt – and we have Claire to thank for that. We cannot recommend her enough.
