Standing there, weaving his story into words, watching laughter and happy tears ripple through the crowd I knew I had found my calling. I create ceremonies bursting with love, meaning and joy? That is where my heart belongs. 💛
Before this? I spent years serving in the police, working closely with families, communities, and schools. That journey sharpened my empathy, honed my listening ear, and taught me how to hold space for life’s big emotions. Now, those skills shape every ceremony I create making sure your love story is told with warmth, authenticity, and heart.

" Alright, buckle up! This is where the good stuff starts. My name's Dene, and I want to fill you in on how I ended up here, super excited (and maybe a touch nervous!) to be your potential celebrant."
Truth is, it all started with my own son and daughter-in-law's wedding. As a young family on a budget, they were getting creative to keep costs down. That's when I stumbled upon this amazing world of celebrant-led ceremonies, and let me tell you, I fell head over heels!
Now, before this wild celebrant journey, I spent years serving as a police officer with West Mercia. From school and family liaison to helping families through tough times, I honed my people skills and learned a thing or two about keeping emotions in check (although, no promises on the happy tears – they might just sneak out!)
Hi I'm Mellissa, the creative force behind our marketing and social media campaigns, ensuring our online presence remains vibrant and engaging. As your first point of contact, im always happy to answer any questions you may have.
