After reviewing a range of options locally, we settled on Simon and his team to cater our joint wedding and fortieth birthday party and have been delighted from start to finish. We loved the menu he put together for the party and the results were absolutely delicious, receiving rave reviews from our friends and family. He is a thoughtful, clear communicator and everything with his team on the day ran like clockwork. Highly recommended. -

Simon came highly recommended from a family friend and i can see why, he was faultless. With the wedding breakfast being such an important decision we spoke to Simon about the different types of meals we could go for, from BBQ, to sharing platters, to hog roast, eventually settling on the standard sit down service. It was difficult choosing the menu because all the options sounded amazing, but once we had he drove out to us and cooked the options for us, cementing our decision selecting him. On the big day, he was flexible and able to adapt the timing of the food service around the speeches. Our guests could not have spoke more highly of the quality of the food and the presentation. We couldn't thank Simon enough for his work, i had the duck starter followed by the pork main course, and going the extra mile to add some crackling to the dish at a special request. Seamless from him and his staff - could not recommend more. -

We booked simon and his team for our wedding on 02/11/24. The food was extraordinary! Thank you so much to Simon and his team for providing our wedding with the most delicious food! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their canapés, wedding breakfast and deserts. Food was 10/10! -

We’d definitely recommend Simon Pollendine to cater for your wedding. He was super flexible and catered for all types of allergies and diets, including gluten free, dairy free etc and even for a fussy eater who only eats chicken nuggets and chips!!!
He came to our house prior to our wedding for a preview of the menu for our big day and that was also perfect, he even washed up afterwards!
The food on our actual Wedding day was incredible and our guests commented on how amazing it all was.
We wouldn’t hesitate to use Simon again for any future special occasions. -

Best Wedding Reception
Simon Pollendine and team catered for our magical wedding at Normanton Park Gardens and the canapés, bbq and trio of desserts were exceptional. Simon and his team are so professional and the service we received was outstanding and timely. We highly recommend this brilliant catering service for any special occasions. -

We choose Simon to do our wedding catering not only for his food but for his enthusiasm and “can do” attitude (other caterers had given us a number of reasons why our theme wouldn’t work). He welcomed, embraced and worked with our unusual request and he also managed to create canapés that were in keeping with our theme. The food tasting was utterly exceptional and the food on the day was exactly as promised, our guests loved the food as much as we did -

Simon was fantastic! He was informative on food and discussed food options based on our likes. He said he would create a meal that was completely personalised to us and spoke at length about the different options. Leading up to the wedding he was informative on service and timings and ensured we had everything ready for our wedding day. We met him the day before at the venue which was a great touch. We enjoyed the food and the guests were very complementary of the meal. Simon was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. -

We chose Simon from a list of recommended suppliers from our venue.
Simon discussed our options with us, and we settled on afternoon tea and a hog roast for the evening, along with canapes.
Prior to our wedding, we went to a friend's wedding who also used Simon as the supplier and were so impressed with the food that we knew we wouldn't need to worry.
The day prior to the wedding, Simon's team were at the venue to lay the tables with the necessary table cloths and crockery nice and early, leaving us plenty of time to set centre pieces, etc.
Simon and his team seamlessly delivered all of the food that we had asked for on the day (and absolutely plenty of it!) It was delicious and the afternoon tea was beautifully presented. The waiting staff even ensured that the children's table were safe, rather than leaving tea pots on the table they served the drinks to the children whenever they asked for them. In the evening it was great that some hog roast rolls had been left out as I realised I hadn't eaten much all day and was suddenly hungry. We would definitely recommend Simon. -
